    really disappointed in this app and product. app won’t connect to the feeder and petlibro support is saying that’s my problem somehow. don’t recommend

    Just got this and not thrilled. Using an SD card which will work initially but then I get “insert SD card” a few hours later. Have to do the install and format all over again to have it happen once more a few hours later. The app requires you to log in again if you change to the settings or other tabs. Lastly, I understand the company needs to supplement their income by selling subscriptions and other stuff but it’s so prevalent that it gets in the way from actually using the app for the specific purposes that it was intended for. Now it’s just a giant advertising medium. I would gladly pay more to shut all that stuff off and have functional app.

    They need to make this app WAY easier to use if you move and change wifi. Both of my feeders just broke and they provide zero instructions or ability on the app to fix this issue. It took forever to try and figure out how to reconnect these back to wifi. “Reconnect if necessary” ok how about you tell me HOW to reconnect. It’s not worth the cost or pain.

  • Schedule settings keep reverting

    Great product and decent app. Would have had 5 stars if not for a very annoying recurring issue where my updates to the schedule don’t persist. I have 3 feeding times on the schedule. The last feeding time is normally off because I’m home to feed my cat myself, but I’ll sometimes turn it on if I know I’ll be home late. There have been many instances that I checked the app way after that feeding should have dispensed and see that the toggle was in Off mode and my cat didn’t get fed. This has happened so many times that now I check the app a minute after the feeding time to make sure my cat got fed, and sometimes I have to manually dispense because the schedule turned off the toggle on its own.

    i like being able to time feeds, but i think the units of measurements are off? i put in two cups and it dispensed like 10 pieces of kibble. confusing. sad i can’t send reminders to myself without paying though. i get the pet health features maybe, but maybe the water and play time reminders would be cool

  • Functional but Needs Improvement in Meal Scheduling

    I rely on my cat’s automatic wet food feeder to provide three meals a day, and this app generally helps make that possible. However, there are some frustrating issues. When a daily meal schedule is completed—meaning all three meals have been dispensed—it’s difficult to set the app so the next cycle starts within the same day instead of automatically scheduling the next meal 24 hours later. This has caused my cat to miss a meal before. I need the app to make it easier to have the feeding cycle repeat automatically every 8 hours without pushing the schedule a full day ahead.

    I bought this with high hopes. It only worked one time. The next time I tried to use it, it disconnected from the network/wifi and it's never been the same. Does not keep cold, always flashing the network status light, the app cannot reconnect to wifi or reset settings to default. Extremely disappointing. My app is up to date and I reset the physical device several times. Where is the solution???
