Can you find the perfect spot for each tile to beat the RNG and defend against waves of invaders? * Tile-Placement meets Tower Defense: Isle of Arrows is a unique blend of genres that adds a new strategic puzzle element to the Tower Defense formula. * Roguelike structure: Each run is randomly generated with different tiles, enemies, rewards and events. Playing through campaigns unlocks more elements to appear in the game. * Modes & modifiers: A variety of game modes, guilds, game modifiers, and challenges make each playthrough unique. Gameplay Each round, you get to place a tile on the isle for free. Spending coins allows you to skip to the next tile immediately. When you're ready, call the next enemy wave and watch your placed defenses in action. There are 50+ tiles in Isle of Arrows: Towers attack the invaders. Roads extend the path the enemies walk on. Flags grow the isle, giving you more space to build. Gardens reward you with coins. Taverns boost all adjacent archery towers. And so on. I mean the game is an honest 10/10 but no cloud save is absolutely absurd.

This game has filled the hole in my heart left by the removal of FF Crystal Defenders from the App Store many years ago. Isle of Arrows is now one of my favorite games. Currently I only have one request, iCloud syncing. I just upgraded to a new iPhone & none of my progress carried over since i didn’t restore from a backup. I’ll happily play again, though some of these challenges are brutal. Thank You for this game. It’s beautifully designed & lovingly made.
  • 3 stars. Extra mobster tracks ruins it

If extra monster tracks dint spawn I would give this 5/5. For isle 2 remove that. So frustrating a feature to defend 3 areas.

Great concept, just the execution is off the mark. Have to play quite a few games to get the absolute perfect draws to win.
  • Boring

Frustrating because so much of winning relies on luck. It’s like playing a slot machine, but it takes an hour to figure out if you’re going to win. Mistake to purchase.
  • Level 21 or bust

They should call this game level 21 or bust because it is very difficult to reach level 40 without the Legacy tower you get for completing level 20 the game before. There are many times where you loose so many hearts that you know there is no way you’ll make it to 40, you you just do your best to reach 21 so next time you get to keep the extra legacy tower. The RNG of this game can be so frustrating. You can hit wave 10 and have 2-3 towers and that’s if you get the legacy tower. Towers and bombs need to spawn more frequently. Darksouls is fun because it’s difficult but you can get better the game. This game is just luck of the draw. Otherwise, fun game!
  • Terrible for battery life, mediocre game

The game itself is somewhat enjoyable, but it’s absolutely awful for your device’s battery life. An hour of playing it measurably uses five times more battery than a FaceTime call of the same duration. It’s in no way worth the trade-off.
  • Worth It

This is a fun, challenging, and beautiful game. I’ve found the randomness keeps things fresh, but is also very straightforward. It’s the type of game that keeps you on your toes, even as you feel you're mastering it. This game is worth every penny, and is free of adware or unnecessary in app purchases.
