Not sure if it’s just me, but I’ve been experiencing some weird issues with gameplay. While in a level, everything will like slow down for a few moments, speed back up and then the process repeats. Love this series and the game so far, hopefully this can be fixed soon.

Desktop: $19.99 for everything. Mobile: $6.99 for the game, $14.99 for towers, $19.99 for heroes. Already absurd. Updates? Free on desktop, but on iOS it’s $6.99 per hero or tower. Now there are three new towers at $5 each, or a $20 bundle — meaning because I supported the game early, I need to spend another $30 just to stay “complete.” Every time desktop gets free heroes and towers, loyal mobile players are forced to pay another ~$10 just to see the same content. That’s not monetization — that’s punishment.

I dislike the lack of special abilities for towers, but love the new hero system. I also miss using stars for upgrades. Thank you for reading

I never really buy games on my phone and I definitely won’t after this. Normally when you pay money for a game most of everything is unlocked. NOT on this game. Beware if you’re looking to play the game and think that you’ll use most of every tower or character. You will if you have an additional $100 to spend on the game because other than the 3-4 towers and characters you’ll have to pay anywhere from $3-$7 for character/tower/arena. Honestly kind of ridiculous to me, if I buy a game I would want most of everything unlocked to me, instead I feel like I bought a ticket to a show I have to pay every artist individually just to hear the whole song. Basically 80% DLC. Love the game, don’t love that I need to pay more for a mobile game I already paid $6 to play.

I think I’m done complaining about these games. Ironhide has my money so they have no need to listen. I only speak to y’all. I just miss the two path tower setup. It’s what made the game so replayable for me. If one path of a tower is ineffective, the other path will surely pay off dividends. I go back to the older games so much because of this. Now you’re locked into only five towers every map. I unno man. It seems so miniscule in how good the game feels but every time I play an older game, it’s just….

Can’t believe you have to pay to have access to the game only for 80% of heroes and half of the towers to be locked behind a pay wall

This is not the type of game you need a DLC for. Locking your new content behind a paywall is just pure greed. I’d rather replay Frontiers again for the millionth time because at least that had some bonus endless levels that you did not have to pay extra for. Just make it all one price upfront. Stay away if you don’t want to keep paying for the most basic updates for an ADDITIONAL $16.

This is the first Kingdom Rush game that I regret purchasing. The devs have increased the difficulty greatly so the player has to buy items to complete even the middle levels. I understand the company needs to make money but squeezing out more profit at the expense of totally ruining the game seems counterproductive. Avoid this developer unless your idea of fun is making dozens of small purchases just to be able to continue the game.
