Description

Wipr blocks ads, popups, trackers, cookie warnings, and other nasty things that make the web slow and ugly. Websites in Safari will look clean, load fast, and stop invisibly tracking you. You’ll notice significant improvements to your battery life and data usage. Setup is a snap. Wipr’s blocklist is updated twice a week automatically, and has enhanced versions for the following languages: Chinese, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese. Wipr 2 is a universal app: install it on all your devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, Vision Pro) with a single purchase. It’s fully accessible with VoiceOver, Voice Control, and more. Dark and Tinted icon variants are included. Family Sharing is supported. Because it’s developed by a single independent developer and 100% funded by its users, Wipr only answers to you: no one can pay to have their ads unblocked, and there are no “acceptable ads”. This app was made with love and patience. I hope you’ll enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed designing and building it. – Kaylee Terms & Conditions: https://kaylees.site/terms-and-conditions.html

  • No Whitelist = Can’t Use

I used to love Wipr, but over time more websites seem just fully broken with it enabled, and it has no whitelisting capabilities, so I have to disable the extension every time while using that site or use a different browser. I just got tired of that and switched to a different ad browser. I can’t really recommend it anymore.
  • *The* Better Web solution for Apple Platforms... in a Good Way.

Gourd Bless Kaylee for creating a (more or less) single tap solution to making WebKit browsing tolerable. Recommendable to literally anyone - those paranoid, detail-obsessed folks who care to explore the transparency of Wipr 2's ongoing development will find the experience pleasant, while most of us can just trust in the (quite rigorous) behind-the-scenes process.

After a week the flow of junk ads is the same if not more
  • Even after enabling, doesn’t block anything

Broken app. Even after enabling, doesn’t block even basic ads. Also apparently no way to block elements or add customer filters. Total trash.

100% worth it, especially bc it’s one time payment

Biggest complement I can give to an app like this is that I don’t even think about it. I don’t see annoying ads everywhere or most of the spammy popups for stuff, and it doesn’t break any websites. The interface for using it is also really clean and the support pricing is really affordable compared to the competitors right now. Highly recommend!

  • Good, but could be better

It doesn’t perform very well with YouTube, the ambient mode turn on after restarting safari every time and moreover it makes the video buffer while trying to go forward/backward by 5 seconds. It works perfectly well with other websites, but I hope these small things get fixed
  • Love this adblocker

Trustworthy and simple but saves me so much time and trouble by getting rid of ads for me. Worth the money for sure. Don’t pass on this one if you’re browsing around looking for a paid adblocker!
