    We have a quadriplegic family member who’s adept at using Voice Control with his iPad. Unfortunately HBO added the “feature” of an ad sliding onto the screen when you pause video. The ad completely disables voice control and someone who relies on that is just stuck and can’t restart their video or do anything. Really bad and Apple should not be approving apps that break core assistive features in iOS or iPadOS.

    I pay for ad free cuz I can’t stand ads. I ignore the price and just take it to the face I think I pay like $50 a month. For my goy brain I can handle paying for ad free because the ads just kill me.

    It’s just crazy to have ads for an already paid subscription, but there’s a great section to watch and the ads are at the beginning, not littered throughout the episode. 4 stars.

    Great app. Question. For the developers. How many times do I need to watch an episode before the “new episode” icon stops showing up? It’s so annoying seeing the new episode and thinking I have a new episode only to see it’s the episode I watched 3+ times. I could understand if it stayed up for a day or two after the episode was released. I am talking about a show that releases an episode once a week and we are on day 6 listing last week’s episode as a “new episode”. COME ON!!! We are one day away from the next new episode. It’s not new anymore!!!!!

    What I have to say about HBO MAX would probably not get much attention but here it goes I’ve had hbo max for a few years I’ve seen the shoe go from max to just hbo and back to having max again and personally I think max should have never left the quality of the platform is much better having max although there is a few things I would prefer to change for instance changing the content a little bit sooner as a consumer of this platform I want to see more shows and movies I want to see newer content from old releases to fresh out of theater releases out her than that it is a great platform and I’m glad to still be intertwined in all of its wonderful features thank you creators of HBO MAX and thank you actors who dedicate your life to great shows and movies .
