While there is a lot of good, free content on the app (markets/indices/forex, etc.). I downloaded the app and created an account to be able to READ articles. There's a promise of free limited articles monthly (exact number of the limit is not stated anywhere) if you register for a free account. Apparently, the limited free articles can only be accessed from a browser. When signed into the app, it constantly asks you to select a subscription to be able to read anything.
  • Insightful, but annoying search algorithm

Bloomberg’s articles are often a combination of reporting and opinion. When I know the title of an article, it’s often easier to use Google search than to use Bloomberg’s search tool.

I’ve been watching Bloomberg TV for years and noticed a big push for their mobile app. They say how you can stay informed with Bloomberg on your mobile device .. they fail to note that it’s $35 per month. Seriously, be considerate and list your subscription prices on your ads.

Can we please get red and green indicators on the securities watch list?
  • Old news is reported like new information

    By CrashAgain
Bloomberg reports old news as if it’s new information. For example, they reported that egg prices reached a record high on April 10, 2025. However, when questioned the reporter admitted that it was news for March 2025. This goes down to honesty and transparency. What other news are they reporting today that happened weeks and months ago, but they are acting like it’s new information?
  • Liberal bias

I have enjoyed Bloomberg for years for as a source of financial information however, ever since Michael Bloomberg entered the political arena, that objectivity has been replaced with a leftist/democrat bias. Disappointing!
  • Democratic Party Fan Club

Your reporting is not objective when dealing with politics. You blindly support the Democratic Party. That’s not journalism. It’s simply propaganda and bias. How about providing both sides of an argument. I will cancel my subscription in September when it’s scheduled to expire . You are especially critical of Elon Musk and Tesla. It’s all clickbait like the rest of mainstream media. I’m better off getting varying views from X which allows me to draw my own conclusions. No offense but you’re just a rag for the Democratic Party!
  • Great news content but app meeds tech improvements

The live video is flaky and cuts out all the time even though I have a strong wifi or cell signal. This does not happen on Youtube TV and my other live video apps. I submitted a request to tech support and received a response that my case was closed with a successful resolution. No one ever contacted me with an offer to help troubleshoot the issue. I love Bloomberg News and hope this flaw in the app is fixed.

    Excellent & helpful site
  • Nonstop Anti Trump

Ever since Trump’s election, the Bloomberg app has turned its breaking news push notifications into a stream of anti-Trump opinion pieces. I downloaded this for market-relevant updates, not political editorials. Stick to what affects the markets—this shift is annoying and off-topic.
