  • RIGGED & UNREALISTIC

Read all the other reviews about how often hands are lost on the river. What also needs to be mentions is how often your winning hand that has dominant odds loses to someone who had 4 or less outs on the river. The worst part is you’re going to lose because your trips or straight will lose to a straight flush or some random and highly unlikely outcome. Except in this app it’s common. It almost seems like the app determines how often it’ll let you win. The app encourages bad play and opponents seem to know the cards (who the heck goes all in on 4-9 off suit on low pair with when there is already a potential straight and flush on the table?! The computer clearly cheats.

As numerous others have commented, the algorithm are truly absurd for what would be realistic in even a Vegas casino where you would know - and therefore expect - that the house would always win. Except you are allegedly playing against other ‘regular’ folks even if not AI bots and the cards should fall in a far more random pattern versus the absurd flops we get. I also miss the customization we had in the former Power PC game, which also has more variations than just Texas. Perhaps those varieties and more customization would make the game less boring.
  • Mediocre at best

The amount of winner hands for the AI bots is crazy. They always seem to have just the right card at just the right time. Not a pro-player but I can see the AI is rather slanted in their favor. The multiplayer aspect is garbage. Won’t even connect on the same network. Just spins……. This games only saving grace is that it is not a real life money pit. Just a way to pass time.

no fancies, simply texas hold’em. Great enjoyment.
  • Reasonably good game solo

The game is reasonable for solo play; however, there are a few bugs including virtual players raising on their own raises (I have seen this dozens of times in a single game). In addition, the random number generator isn't very consistent - I see a disproportionate number of highly improbable hands including pocket aces coming up in someone's hand every two deals sometimes (happened five hands in a row once).
