    I’m looking to swap off Spotify as I do not wish to continue supporting such a company such as Spotify and YouTube music. I found Deezer and gave it a shot with the trial, the music quality is much better and I love how you’re not constantly hearing the same songs like Spotify. It is a nice change however, the whole interface is slow and laggy. It feels as if I’m on a older phone occasionally which is quite annoying. Your playlist are much more unorganized with no subcategories and you have a cap to how many songs you can add to a playlist. This app will either be a hit or miss for you. It was a miss for me unfortunately, hopefully throughout time they’ll improve.

    My family has been using Deezer for a couple of months. Over all music is good, sound and selection quality is good, and if I’m playing it on my phone the app works well. However, using Deezer to cast to Google Home’s or Home Mini’s has a slew of issues. We usually get a solid 30-60 minutes on average of music before Deezer disconnects and stops playing our playlist, and this is our primary way of listening to streaming services, and it is extremely frustrating. It also has issues booting up the playlist when I start it, and there is some pretty awful lag when connecting and skipping songs when casting.

    It has some songs that I can’t find on Spotify and I’ve really loved the evolution of the app over the years. Great alternative to the usual music apps, give it a try and be patient with Deezer flow to let it learn your music tastes.

    First off, I really appreciate this app. The music suggestions are usually spot on and the app is easy to navigate. I love how accessible the mood playlists are. With that being said, I can't make phone calls in my car while the app is installed. It doesn't matter where my phone call is routing through (car or phone), this app will play music no matter what. If you pause the music, it will just play again, making phone calls impossible. I had to uninstall the app just to finish a call. My one other critique is how larger playlists aren't auto shuffled, and adding to the queue in a larger playlist just shoves the song to the very bottom. For playlists of over 1,000 songs, this isn't intuitive design. Adding songs to the queue is sometimes tough because of the UI -- there's too many options and too small of text, with a giant static space at the top of the screen. I'd love to see the option to swipe a song to add to the top of the queue.
