It was so hard to register. Pocket app doesn’t show virtual keyboard so I had to switch constantly to Notes where I typed my email, password, etc. and copy then back to Pocket, paste and so on. And then the app just doesn’t work. I copy url from Safari, then I switch to Pocket, it shows banner “pasted from Sfari” but actually nothing is posted because the screen is empty. I’ve restarted the app and my iPad a few times but it still doesn’t work. The blue button “Learn how how to save” also doesn’t work - it shows infinite animation “Loading…” and that’s all. I can’t believe such app has premium/paid version since the base version is the buggest app I’ve ever install on my iPad.
  • I use regularly but it could be better

The good: it's a great way to save articles for later reading, and the article view tends to look great. I like that it simplifies the text and removes much of the ad bloat from the source page. My suggested improvements are mainly in the features for organizing and searching for past-read and want-to-read articles. I would like to see a better search functionality, for example. My searches tend to return a sea of irrelevant results, so I don't use search much for that reason. I'd also like the ability to search or filter via multiple tags, as is possible in Evernote. Finally, I understand it may be technically difficult, but the ability to read articles by pagination (swipe right to left) rather than scrolling would be great. I believe this is or was possible on Android but not IOS.
  • Difficult to Navigate

I’m a person looking to focus on a specific sort of news (climate news) and this app makes it impossible to search for what you seek...you’re basically just left to read what “people liked” or what the pocket people are reading...and I really don’t care about either of those things. I’m thinking this just isn’t the news app for me.
  • Abysmal

I open the app to immediately be greeted by this hideous piece of “corporate art” and a prompt to sign up for an account. This is not at all what I was hoping for. I need a solution that actually saves things on device only, with no account attached. The “art” above it was just an insult to anyone with taste, and practically begged me to uninstall the app. Which I did.
  • I want to love this but it won’t…

Won’t Sync from my articles clipped in safari or open the help pages about any of the issues I’m having trouble with. It’s frozen in time, despite my logging in and out, try it from phone, iPad and laptop, refresh, and pay the monthly fee. Only shows articles I saved ages ago. The “help” button leads me nowhere so I’m hoping this review gets me some help and will happily change the rating if it does.

The best of all ‘save and store’ article readers. Smooth, fast and perfect for reading or listening to it later. Highly recommended app, one of my must haves.

Before making this purchase I wanted to know if items were backed up somewhere in case something went wrong? I could not locate the answer. Do all saved articles have the ability to be read to you? I could not locate that I do anywhere yet you have a headphone icon. If only some can be read to you once saved which saved items can’t be read to you and why? I could not locate that I go either. Why don’t you have an email listed anywhere to email you? I could not locate your email for further questions even with an account! I can save all my articles to my desktop or file on my phone and save them there for free. Why do I need this service? Thanks. I had to ask my questions here…
  • Tags never save after using the share menu

Submitted a couple dozen links with tags using the share menu from Twitter. The links saved, none of tags do, so now I have to go into the app to add tags. The android app doesn’t have these problems - it also tells you if you’ve already saved a link and shows tags you’ve used recently, which iOS doesn't. Pretty disappointing.

I’m still waiting on my 4 purchases of the NYtimes “4 dollars every month” to even let me read a single article… Just want to read a simple article man. I love the app but anytime I make purchases it tends to not workout
