  • Frozen, but without the singing

    This app used to at least let me look at ten or fifteen listings before it would freeze, but now it freezes in the middle of the first listing I click on. I have to shut down the app and start over. Useless.

    So the one issue I have is when it comes to rentals. Numerous times we are told we got it we are sent over the lease. We sign it and it takes the landlord a week or two to sign it. As we are waiting and waiting our move in date is approaching as we are continuously contacting them just to find out oh we changed our mind. So moving forward I wish in order to even send over a lease the landlord should have to sign it first. Then leave it to the consumer to decide to move forward

  • Great App but Listings Often Outdated

    I’ve been using Zillow to search for a rental home and overall the app is easy to use, with great filters and a clean layout. However, about 3 out of 4 properties I’ve contacted have already been rented out even though they are still listed as available on Zillow. It’s frustrating to get excited about a home, reach out, and then find out it’s not actually on the market anymore. If the listings were updated more promptly, or required to be updated, this would be a 5-star experience.

  • Zillow tolerates dishonest realtors

    I found a realtor on Zillow that had all 5 star ratings. She was also affiliated with Zillow as a preferred agent. I discovered that she deliberately misrepresented the facts for a listing, making the property much more attractive than it was. She also left out details that would have been a red flag to potential buyers. These actions are against the consumer protection law in California. I tried to work through the Zillow app to expose her and have the listing corrected or removed. Zillow did nothing and never contacted me. I have all of the substantive evidence and have filed a complaint with the state. Her unethical listing remains on Zillow and makes me question the accuracy or all the other listings. I will never trust Zillow again.

    I love this app BUT it would be great if there was a way to filter through the listing status. You find a house for sale and you’re liking what you see until you actually click on “show more” under “facts and features.” And you have to scroll alllllllll the way to the bottom to see what the actual listing status is. Buying a home is very stressful and it’s really frustrating that the information you really need to see is hidden.

    I can’t even count how many third-party companies there are attached to this website who flood your email text you all kinds of baloney claim to be able to help you with whatever you need. Just pay those little fees rack still sitting around pushing a cart full of money there’s nobody finance us or rent to us, even though we’re verified through Zillow that’s not accepted. We have to pay again, whatever place we applied to for the background check check but a waste of time
