Google Voice doesn’t ring on Apple Watch so I always miss calls and texts. Sometimes they’re important and I need to receive them right away and I’m constantly missing them. It’s practically useless for me. I hope Google fixes this and makes it work with Apple Watch soon.

Google Voice is a life saver for a frequent traveler or for someone who lives overseas, and it’s a money saver back in the USA because you only need internet. It’s my favorite app.

Idk when they implemented verification status bs but I shouldn’t have to verify myself when I never had to before. Someone needs to explain why this is a thing now?! Used to be great, I’ve used it since it came out ages ago. Recently *some* phone calls have stopped coming through. I’m at IT expert, 30+ years. This is NOT an iOS setting I can modify nor a setting in voice. Some calls work some don’t. I have followed every tech note on the Internet for iOS and Google Voice, this is not fixable at this time. I had to switch away from voice, I simply can’t have missed calls like this!

I need to message someone using this app. I’m out of town and am trying to connect with a friend. But now I have to do all this “security“ information extraction. Done this, with no option. AND now I have to wait on verification. Cannot message my friend at a travel destination 1000 miles from home. Idiots.

Why would you need an existing phone number to get a phone number, that defeats the entire purpose of purpose
