  • Can’t buy credits

Why is there no option to buy credits in the app? And when I go to the Google voice website it isn’t accepting my payment. Is this being discontinued?

Per usual, can’t use my phone number to verify, support is no help (shocking). Gg google. I’m going to go pay another company instead of using your terrible service.

I recently moved abroad and this saved me from losing my phone number and also being able to use it for all my accounts that are still connected to it. For only $20 you can port your US number into Google voice and keep receiving texts and calls from the US! You can even use it to call US numbers for free from anywhere in the world. It’s been a life saver.

You get your own number. From what I can tell it will probably always be my number as long as I have this google account and use it. This number is ideal to give out to companies who might want to spam it as the spam filter is decent. Or it’s a good number to give out to people you know as a secondary if your one to constantly change numbers but this one will be one they can eventually reach you on even if you don’t check it daily. It could use some room for improvement. I don’t like the fact that you need another phone number through an actual phone service to set up bc at times I don’t always have my phone in service or same number. Found this out the hard way when I went to delete an old number I had no intention of reactivating. Could use the option to select all or multiple when deleting txts. While the spam caller filter is decent the spam filter for txts needs some work and I get a lot I wish I could delete in all one action instead of individually. On an android the app generally runs smoothly but since I switched to iPhone it only rings twice if at all and if I manage to answer the caller hangs up bc they say it’s been ringing way more than the two times it did on my end. But right now it goes straight to voicemail instead of ringing at all. Not sure what’s up with that. Other than that it’s a pretty decent app.
  • Won’t accept my number

I have AT&T, so my phone number should not be an issue. However, every time I try to add my phone number I get an error message. The message only says that it is not able to accept my phone number. It does not say why and it does not offer any other options. It appears that this app doesn’t have any type of customer service whatsoever, which is unacceptable.

I have used this app since 2012 on androids and now an iPhone. Last year, I was unable to set different ringtones and notifications for my contacts on either phone. Could you guys please put those features back in the app? Thanks in advance! 😁

I am very frustrated with this app. It is requiring me go use a password go open it up. Never had to do this before. Now people will not be able to reach me!
