    Not of fan of the 4/2025 update. Experiencing more issues with communication on the app. Duplicate notifications and sending of messages. Tried to get help and submitted a video of the problem (click on notification or e-mail and instead of opening app, it crashes). I feel the app has worsened over the years. Not worth the subscription price.

  • Buggy, no support, expensive

    Frustrated that I cannot edit reviews. Don’t understand why they wouldn’t let us do that when they are also charging a high amount for subscription. They don’t have a customer service number. You can only contact them via messaging and they take about two days to get back to you. I was in a situation where I really needed to edit my review because it diverged some information that nobody should see. It is completely unreasonable to have to wait two days to get that edited. Don’t understand certain rules that they have. The app is also quite buggy. It randomly exits for no reason and is sometimes hard to go back to pages.

    They are great! So far they have connected me with some great Nannie’s. I just think the cost is very expensive.

  • Buggy app and bad user experience - but good caregivers

    Such a missed opportunity here. Lots of experienced caregivers on the platform but app and website are always buggy. I wish that they made it easier to run a proper hiring funnel using the app by allowing you to create a pipeline and tag applicants. Also create a way better filter so you can search for what you need (I.e. multiple, infant experience etc)

    Caregivers listed either respond days later or dont respond at all. Can you make sure notifications come through for everyone and maybe mark those that dont respond quickly, they dont want a job i guess.

    Nobody applies to my ad. If they do they are from 100 miles away. People don’t answer messages I send. People don’t really want to work. Housekeepers want to clean homes that are already clean. Last time I used care.com it was a waste of $ and looks like it will be again.

  • Not a Secure Platform for Families

    There's no privacy protection for families on this app. I left a review on some caregiver and that person got mad and harrassed me. It's not safe for families to use if we can't even write reviews to share experience without any concerns

  • Overpriced

    You can’t really use the features without paying a subscription, and they don’t remind you when it’s about to renew. As a person juggling childcare, this is especially unkind. It can be hard to track quarterly payments. I’ve used care.com 2-3 times now and I’ve always been dissatisfied with what you get for the price. The price is too high, I couldn’t get human customer service and the auto renewal is easy to sneak by you. I’ll be looking for other ways to find care.
