  • Too many holes and bricks your phone.

    I’ve used covenant eyes for the last 8 years, and I’m finally cancelling my plan to go to another system. I was hopeful when they adopted the VPN configuration, but it has been extremely lacking, and more importantly, it bricks your phone of service/wife ~3 times per day. Moreover the fact that this only functions with a safari extension and is incompatible with any other search engine makes it much less useful. Very grateful for the Covenant Eyes team and platform. They’ve developed a lot over the last 8 years, but still have a long way to go before being considered a strong software solution to accountability. I simply can’t keep paying for a service that only half works.

    No customer service wrote back. Safari extension error code can’t get past that. App needs work.

    This app fails regularly to accurately track my browsing now across several devices. The VPN does little besides interfere with WiFi signal. When I’ve needed it to hold me accountable, it has failed and sent clean reports to my sponsor. It will only track sites that identify themselves as explicitly pornographic. But there are a lot of sites it does not pick up on. It’s not a cheap subscription either.

    Works great in the sense that it completely disables your browser. Well not entirely, actually. Sometimes it works, more times than not it won’t. However most of the time even when you try going to a harmless website it will not allow you. Please fix this!

  • Stop making this app worse

    Please stop making this app worse. When I get a recap email and someone has a concerning image, I should not have to click through five screens and log into two different apps. Make email links go straight to the correct page. This app is getting harder and harder to use and Less user friendly

  • Shows almost nothing

    On Android it’s great. It takes screenshots of stuff on apps as well. Don’t bother getting this if you have an iPhone. Shows nothing but safari/google searches.

  • Works well but feels overpriced personally

    Works well but doesn’t feel very effective especially on phones, I understand that it’s because of legislation but still it’s basically useless on Android and on iPhone there is a heavy reliance on screen time. For windows pcs it’s great since there aren’t great other ways of filtering out harmful content but on the other devices it doesn’t feel like it’s worth the 20$ a month asking price.

    My phone (upper right hand corner) switches from showing WiFi to then the VPN connection. It seems like the WiFi connection won’t work if the VPN is connected. July 13,2025 Your VPN is still messing with my apps and WiFi, please look into this. August 2025 Please fix your VPN , my phone is still having issues with it. August 2025 Your heart behind this app is great. However execution and maintenance of the app stinks. That VPN needs work.
