    Since updated 13pro app has not worked for me even after I check settings verification and update was a great app til then … it’s been two weeks still can’t use tap pay or my credit card swiper for my business

    I’ve been reviewed 4 times as a legitimate business and each time funds are HELD with no help available until they are reviewed . I’ve been reviewed 4 times !! 4 angry customers and 1 bad review later I am deleting this app . Horrible customer service , Horrible platform .
  • Perfect for small craft business!

    My sister and I just ventured out with a new craft business. We are going slow and starting out with small one day events, but in today’s world knew we needed some way to take digital payments, as less and less people carry cash. I did a ton of research and finally decided on Square. We had our fist show recently and the entire experience with square was nothing less than delightful! I had seen vendors have some issues with the small attachment used with their phone, so we ended up purchasing the small Bluetooth square and the heavy round base that it goes in. This made it much easier for customers to make payments (as it even takes the “tap” feature) and it looked VERY professional on the table! Setup of the app on my Apple tablet was a breeze and the directions for it were quite easy to follow. The couple of places where I got stuck were quickly figured out with the online support guide (and one YouTube video). I was pleasantly surprised with the features of this program and using the system was completely seamless. It worked EXACTLY as advertised and we could not be happier with the results! The payments showed up at the bank within a day and a report also showed up in our email explaining the breakdown for the deposit. I truly expected some difficulty somewhere along the way with this system, but so far it has been nothing but wonderful. It is simple to take payments and the fees are quite reasonable for all that this program provides you with. So if you’re looking for a simple solution for taking digital payments, do not hesitate to use this program!!
  • Withholding Money, No Access to Customer Support

    After 2+yrs of business they randomly started withholding all of my money claiming I need to verify my identity. No notification, I just realized my bank account was not receiving my money. After digging through my square account, I finally realized Square was a withholding money because they wanted me to “verify” my account. After submitting the information they requested I waited another week. They then sent me a notification requesting more information, including access to my bank account to “verify” my balance and transaction history. I then submitted the information and was told I had to wait until it was reviewed and approved. I then tried calling customer support after I submitted the information. I went through several different prompt menus with no access to a representative until I repeatedly pushed zero. Once I finally spoke with a representative they just told me my account was under review. Why did you let me proceed with processing transactions for my customers only to withhold the transaction and not releasing it to my bank account? It has been several weeks since I processed these transactions, will you be paying me interest?

    Customer service is terrible! Can’t call for help and need a freaking code to talk to anyone- that’s Iffff you can reach anybody. I’d do a lot more apps with them If the customer support was there- it’s Nill!!
