You can check whether push notifications are enabled under the Account Settings within the app. Select features are also available on Apple Watch. Note that what you can see and do within the MyChart app depends on which features your healthcare organization has enabled and whether they’re using the latest version of Epic software. If you have questions about what’s available, contact your healthcare organization. To access MyChart, you must create an account with your healthcare organization. To sign up for an account, download the app and search for your healthcare organization or go to your healthcare organization’s MyChart website. After you’ve signed up, turn on Face ID, Touch ID, or a four-digit passcode to quickly log in without needing to use your MyChart username and password each time. Then, make sure you have push notifications enabled to receive updates on your device when new information is available in MyChart. I recently sent a message to my cardiologist. At first it indicated it was unable to deliver my message for some unknown reason. later, I went back and tried to retrieve the message and it was no longer available.

Try to reply to messages but app kicks you out of Message Center every 5 words entered. Phone call will be used instead.

The patient upon sending a message, we have no idea if and when it was read. There should be a feature displaying date/time the message was read…

  • INTERACTING THRU LONG BEACH MEMORIALCARE’s MYCHART CAN EXACERBATE ILLNESS’ AND CREATE BRAND NEW!!!!

Long Beach MemorialCare’s MyChart should provide a vehicle thru which the patient can pursue formal complaints re Doctors, Lab facilities, RX’s, Patient Care, Reception, etc. re Long Beach MemorialCare’s MyChart. It does not. I do get questionnaires and/or surveys re specific visits. But the dirt is oftentimes not done at the visits. At least, not to my knowledge. I have just been informed by an RN thru MyChart that my Primary Care Doctor is unaware of my request/s thru MyChart. Even though I made it directly to her(as I always have). Now. This time. All of a sudden. She never responded???? Kicked me to the curb. Picked me up and threw me to the lioness’s dens of do nothing…. slowly. Snail pace slowly. I am assuming that my Primary Care doctor has given its approval to effectively block my access to it thru Long Beach MemorialCare’s MyChart. The very vehicle thru which the patient is supposed to have access to his/her Primary or any attending physician. Go figure. Again. Long Beach MemorialCare’s MyChart should provide a vehicle for patient complaints re MyChart behaviors pursuant to medical care, or lack thereof. Or Long Beach MemorialCare’s MyChart should provide information as to where/how the patient can pursue same.
