My Chart is a seamless patient portal that provides quick access to one’s medical history, tests result and messages. It is a easy way to make appointments, communicate with the medical professionals and to look up any billing. My Chart is a useful tool for both patient and doctors to have open and transparent communications.
  • Poor coordination with J Muir health

Test results from Muir urgent care and Lab Corp aren’t displayed in MyChart, requiring the patient to also access those sites to obtain lab results.

Everything in the app is so well divided and with easy access, prioritizing items in need of attention.

  • Messaging physician is difficult

I can’t seem to find where to message my doctor directly. The app puts me into an automated options screen and tells me to contact my physician directly which is what I was trying to do, to refill an expired prescription.

I love my chart. I can get easy access to the nurse and if necessary the doc. If there is just questions or you’re feeling a certain way just a message sometimes gets things rolling without having to wait for an appointment. For example if I tell my doctor about certain symptoms she can just say let’s get some blood work. If it’s off then she just calls me and says vitiams are off or maybe my thyroid level is off and it’s something that can be done without an office visit. You get test results as soon as they come out, you get paperwork from all visits without having to bring home a stack of papers that just goes in the garbage, X-rays, cat scans, mri, mammogram images right there and if you are some where else that doesn’t have all your info, you do right at your finger tips. Set up kids accounts that can be connected right to yours. Geez I should be a spokes person for MyChart lol. Anyway, I love it
  • Sylvester Cancer Center / Dr Carmen Calfa

I did not start my treatment at Sylvester. I left my last oncologist and was brought to the best. I believe that my doctor, Carmen Calfa is the reason that I am still alive. She follows up on everything and is very pleasant to be her patients.
