I wanted to use this as a quick reference for the draft and it’s terrible for this.

This app requires a lot of work. At first, I thought the issue was my personal iPhone and iPad, but when I began to encounter the same issue on my FireTV and Firecube, I realized it was the app. On FireTV and Firetube, the app will open to the main screen but will not advance unless I close and open the app several times. The iPhone and iPad encounter a similar issue; however, if the screen retracts from a mini screen to a full screen, it will instantly go black.
  • Forced NFL+ purchase

Shortly after downloading, the app prompted me to click on a banner because it recognized I had an Amazon Fire TV. The TV then stopped what I was watching and asked me to download the NFL+ app. At the same time, my phone flashed that I needed to click accept. While doing this, I was not aware the app was charging me the NFL+ membership fee. When I called Amazon to cancel, they said they could not refund me. This app does not work because the banner keeps flashing until you click it. Reminds me of the old pop up ads of the early 2000s. I vow to never download the NFL app again.
  • Awful functionality

Crashes constantly, super slow, hard to navigate. Even on a new iPhone, the NFL only cares about $$$
  • It’s become near useless

The NFL has made most of the apps feature for paid users only and the data in it is not even updated. It’s the draft night, raiders are on the clock and nfl app doesn’t have Geno Smith as being on their roster even though they traded for him 7 weeks ago. Even just getting to rosters is annoying.

Works very well on phone put on iPad it doesn’t work that good I mean the scoreboard shows about 30% of the screen
  • Desperate for clicks.

Whenever a signing or trade happens, I’ll get ESPN and Fox sports alerts telling me the details. 5 minutes later NFL will come in with “A player who started 6 games for an AFC team last year was just signed.” It’s bad click-bait for info we already have.

What would really push this over the top is if you had an Apple Watch app that you could use and get sports scores like NBA and MLB.
