    First off, let me say that if you don’t buy the paid version, this app is a nightmare. The ads are relentless and nonstop and you’re wasting your time watching ads to send or receive messages. So I bought the paid version. I thought I could send unlimited text messages, but when I started to send too many messages, my account was restricted.

    I understand charging for some additional stuff but when you advertise as a free text sight and then will not allow that at all - in any way shape or form it is an outright bait and switch and false advertising. Be Warned you will spend 10 minutes setting up the account only to find out that it is anything but free….

    Not working and I already wrote to support & I subscribe. I will not be renewing. 4/28/25: Have written several times to support and they still have yet to fix my account. Been dealing with Erika: Apr 27, 2025, 9:06 AM PDT Hello, Your account was blocked by our system's security filters, which may have prevented you from logging in, making calls, or sending messages. The block has now been removed, so you can use your account as normal including resettting your password. The block was initially placed because our automated systems detected that the app was being used outside of the U.S. and Canada, which goes against Pinger’s Terms of Service. To prevent future blocks, please ensure that you use the app only within the U.S. or Canada… I live in Florida and occasional travel to PRico to visit family.I have a new cellphone number in which I added the textfree app to and have tried to send myself a reset link and its not recognizing my login credentials. Ive had the same textfree # for over 8yrs and I’m a paying customer. here is a prior response: without even checking with me and asking me where do u live or are you on vacation.     Texting is great, but in my experience, calls are scratchy and grainy sounding no matter the volume. Not clear at all. Great for texting though
