  • Ads delay real time notifications

Be aware this ap demands payment or will smother real time alerts of actual quakes without presenting the quake incident until the ad is complete. This is not only dangerous but ridiculous to delay life saving information in the interest of commercialization. I’m pretty sure you don’t have to listen or watch a 90 second game advert to talk to 911, 119 or 999 so why would you toy with someone’s life for your profit. The alerts are often very late if they are reported. On average one 5-10 minutes alerted after the quake. Other aps are free, no ads, and report as the event happens. Do you want to bet your life on this delayed reporting, capitalist driven company where the reporting is very inaccurate? Would you bet your life or your family’s life on this company? No.
  • Best earthquake app by far! Plus it also gives you wildfires.

I have tried a few other earthquake apps. This one gives me more versatility in setting the parameters of what I want to see. The latest update has taken the best app to a whole new level! All the information on each earthquake is in the same spot. I haven’t mentioned the map, holy cow, it is so amazing! If you zoom in you can see the radar showing rain, snow… Don’t waste time or money looking at, or for, anything else - this is the absolute BEST!!!
  • Great App for monitoring earthquakes

Love this app. Great information on earthquakes and geologic activity! The fire and smoke information is great too! Would love to see more info on what volcanoes are erupting! It has great information on the plates and where volcanos are located and is great for locating recent earthquake activity and watching trends of geological activity! Great little app! Check it daily or more often if earthquakes are happening in areas I am interested!
  • Great app, needs better local alerts

It’s nice you can alert for a given location by political boundaries (state in my case), but would be way better to have local alerts based on radius from a location. I live in northern New Mexico but don’t want a ton of alerts from the southeastern border region with the fracking going on near Texas.
  • I love it

I love all the cool map layers and basemaps and other features that no other earthquake apps have. Wildfires are also really helpful here in California

I don’t use Substack. I don’t like it. I don’t like that. I have to see it now in a list of past earthquakes.
  • Great App!

This app keeps me informed whenever there’s a quake that is close to me and/or family. Lots of useful information. I highly recommend getting it!
