  • Who's responsible for this piece of garbage?

I've worked many professional softwares with supposedly much steeper learning curve. I couldn't believe how badly designed, unfriendly, unintuitional, limited, buggy a office spreadsheet software could be in 2024. It beats my terrible memory for excel decades ago and certainly isn't anywhere better than google sheet. Someone that didn't deserve the position was hired and it showed.
  • The SOCKH Formula keeps being faulty

The STOCKH formula uses Yahoo data but sometimes it doesn't upload the most recent data even if 2 days have past already. This was already confirmed by support twice so it's a bug. I didn't want to use Excel but I'm forced to do it now. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE ASAP. Come on Apple, is time to upgrade to a more reliable data stream or is Yahoo that complicated?? PLEASE FIX THIS ALREADY.

Like all things apple lately numbers has some cool features and ways of rethinking spreadsheets but just is behind on actual function. Separate tables that can exist on a “sheet “ independently is excellent, categories is great but with any data of value it has long standing holes in function that are just inexcusable at this point. It look nice but is so far behind everything else. it’s almost like somewhere there’s a bet on how little they need to update to stay successful.
  • Best Spreadsheet Application for any operating system

Numbers is hands down the best spreadsheet application available. There is never a reason to use other spreadsheet applications, even when collaborating with people who only use other operating systems. The best feature that makes Numbers the absolute best spreadsheet is the way the sheets are open canvases allowing any content to be anywhere on the canvas. Other applications are just nowhere near the ease of use and functionality of Numbers.

  • Good but not great

Every capability that the "Numbers"app provides is well implemented. Unfortunately, it does not have the ability to identify differences between two spreadsheets, which to me is a very important feature.
  • Learning Curve

Still learning some of the command shortcuts; however; they are logical and simple to use when learned.
  • Still not functional

IT really is not a usable system. I pay for Excel because Numbers really does not have functionality to do spreadsheets. The keyboard commands lend it to not functioning right. I wish it would be better, but hey it is not a focus anymore for Apple. My recommendation is go to something better like Google Sheets or Excel.
