loved this app before, very simple and straightforward to use, however they swapped the ui and now its clunky and a pain to use.
  • I like it because it’s free

the only upgrade snapseed needed was a black working background. it flowed, it was easy, it didnt look like it was designed by a tiktok teen.
  • Took away good feature

loved this app for literal YEARS until with one of the newest updates they took away the reshape feature. nothing sets it apart from all the other editing apps now as that was mostly what i had this app for, as well as the healing feature. i still like it but please bring reshape back.
  • Updates made it worse

The update took something that worked great and removed half the features. On top that, the UI went from being straightforward and clean to something that looks like a rejected free Winamp skin from 2002
  • New update is horrible

The interface isn’t great, I much prefer the old. But my biggest beef is editing raw photos is impossible. They are imported with incredibly high contrast and saturation. It’s completely unusable. I don’t want to give it any stars but have to in order to submit this.
  • Ruined.

They updated the app after years and absolutely ruined the workflow. So many tools have been removed, and the interface is completely unusable. An absolute shame.
  • Just… why??

This app used to be so intuitive, easy and straightforward to use. Now it full of extra steps and glitter everywhere. This major update just ran over all the years of muscle memory I had using the app. It’s like a whole different app but worse and with less features. I think you guys should bring back the old ui/ux and maybe improve on top of it wot ai or with helping tools for when selecting a subject for example. Or if anything, at least give the option to toggle between them. Until this os fixed I won’t change my rating.
  • Please change back

Please give a toggle to use old format. The new format is touchy and clunky.
  • Gone from best in class to unusable.

Very depressed by this. I don’t know who thought the redesign was a good idea, but it couldn’t have been a photographer. Unless there’s a way to enlarge the editing panel that I haven’t discovered — please tell me that’s the case — then we’re expected to do careful edits on an image swimming in a sea of other photos. This is ridiculous. It’s such a bad idea that I’m convinced there has to be a way to enlarge the panel to get rid of all the distractions. Seriously, I’ll be happy to update this if someone can tell me what I’m missing. Please. I want to be wrong.
