  • I’d give it zero stars if I could.

Even though I am a subscriber, this app absolutely refuses to recognize that fact, and keeps begging me to subscribe. And the restore purchases button doesn’t do anything.
  • Can’t copy puzzles

I can’t find a way to print crosswords. Very frustrating.
  • News good, pop ups bad

    By atxhufford
I keep seeing pop-ups to ask me to subscribe when I am already logged in as a subscriber. I had to login to read the article that was only available to subscribers. Why am I seeing a pop up?
  • Needs a lot of improvement

This is an incredibly frustrating app that has the ads competing with copy and winning.
  • Good stuff!

Man I remember going out to the end of the drive way early Saturday mornings to grab my grandma her American-Statesman newspaper, I usually went straight for the comics but I am excited they have an app! Always staying up to date on important things!
  • Much improved over 5 years ago

    By Everything matters
Smooth. Logical. Yay! The improvements in using the app since the buyout of the Statesman several years ago are dramatic! Easy navigation with ads enough out of the way that you can digest articles without constant worry. The paper has good enough focus on local but not as much investigative content as needed but the app works very well.
  • Little to no content

    By ybkkiln
Even after setting preferences all I get is high school sports. Also the app makes it nearly impossible to unsubscribe.
  • False pricing

    By A. Gar.
When I was on the app I was told that it would 6 months for ¢99 and once I agreed to purchase it charged me $14.99 for ONE MONTH. Don’t believe the pricing pop ups on this app, it’s false.
  • Poor

    By dbab22
Very difficult to get info. Miss the ability to download the paper versus looking at dated stories or photos.
  • Fave news app
