All of the recommendations feel like ai slop. I don’t think the ap has anything worthwhile to tell me about my health other than the stats but it’s front loaded with the ai commentary.

The Fitbit app use to be fun and and intuitive. Google health is bland. I have to dig for my information, and can no longer connect stats with friends in any meaningful way. Badges are gone. Major downgrade.

This APP is not linked properly with the Fitbit watch as the nighttime breathing rate and HRV isn’t reliable!

Google took a great product and ruined it! They’re slowly adding features back after customers complained. Slowly and not as good as Fitbit. E.g. user were screaming for the ability to add custom food as the original app allowed. It’s back now but is missing all the features. It’s bare bones and just enough to say they added it. Lots of details are missing - various types of measurements, brand name, sodium, calcium, fiber, sugar, etc., content. The frequent foods list is not being updated correctly. Missing items I ate three days in a row. Fitbit linked foods we ate in a meal. When we recorded one of the foods again, it brought everything up in the same meal to make it easier to enter. Now we have to go through them one by one again and they’re not on the frequent foods. Tedious and time consuming. Being back the additional categories of meals - morning snack, afternoon snack, evening snack. Lumping all snacks into one category isn’t helpful for people that eat smaller meals throughout the day for various reasons. Also, Fitbit allowed us to see the entire past day all in one view. Now we have to go tile by tile. A useful measurements is missing. I want to know the deficit of how many I’ve burned against how many I’ve consumed. It is a crucial stat for losing weight. Shouldn’t have to do the math myself and don’t care how many target calories are left to consume. Stop with the stupid confirmation bar every time we do something! It is freaking annoying and useless! Many others have complained about it too.

I’ve had the new Fitbit air for about 6 weeks now. The experience is not good. The app will randomly delete workouts it had previously synched. It sometimes can’t seem to find a workout I just did and take me through a long series of steps to try and fix it to no avail. Then the next morning it’ll randomly show up, having wasted a ton of my time. It seems to kill the battery life on my phone. The fitness section will also frequently double count workouts and either say I’ve done work that I haven’t say that I haven’t done workouts that I have. Overall, it’s an incredibly frustrating experience, and I am very displeased. If there was a way to return the device, I would likely do so and switch to another such as whoop or the new Garmin tracker.

This app makes me want to stop using my Fitbit all together. The layout is horrible way too much going on. Sometimes it doesn’t track certain categories well or at all. No one asked for this.

Ready to buy Apple Watch. Years of easy tracking nutrition, steps, etc now a feat to find. Accuracy of nutrition poor and redoing years of food searches frustrating. Even basic food measurements are gone. Recuperating from surgery, no non intensive basic exercises to log in or to write in. Hours it records in bed a joke. Not user friendly for recording basic tasks.
