  • Sync?

    1. Can I just have a button that I can press that says “Sync” PLEASE. I just redid my Word pdf on my Windows computer and exactly how long do I have to wait until it shows up on my iPhone? 2. What happened to my large tiles for my photos? Used to fit 3 across just showing the photo. This new way of viewing the pictures with the name under them and they are small tiles is horrendous with such tiny tiles. Trust me, I don’t care to see the name of the file, I just want to see the image how it was before the 2025 update.
  • “Open file in browser” prompt

What’s the point of me getting all my guys on tablets to open shared links that direct them to OneDrive folders in the app, only for them to be asked to open it in the browser which is less user friendly to tablet users. We had so much luck with this app from 2023-2025 and then the January update hit and ruined almost all of the functionality. Now my team is constantly having to restart the app/tablet just to get into a folder. And don’t even get me started on the search function where if you have less then optimal internet connection becomes the most useless thing on the planet. Microsoft needs to roll this back. It’s so bad.

When you open a pdf and scroll down to other pages in the file you lose the menu and you can’t get it back to close the file. You have to kill the app to get out of it. This has been a problem for years. Not sure if they will ever fix it.
  • Poor video playback, no Album sorting

Allow high quality video playback streaming, and allow Album sorting and you have a winner. Without it One Drive ranks 3rd or 4th place.
  • Useless App

I don’t even know why I keep paying for this garbage. You keep ruining it with every update. Can’t delete more than 20 items at a time, crashes CONSTANTLY. Everyone seems to hate it and you guys don’t seem to care at all. Switching to google drive because I can’t even use this trash app without it crashing every 5 seconds and also it doesn’t sync anymore. Way to up your prices and ruin your app. Cheapskates.
  • Better but not great

A couple updates ago they took away the feature to easily rename scans before you saved them. The latest update they changed that so you can, but it’s still VERY clunky to use. There is no “x” to get rid of the name it gives you, you have to instead select the whole line and then delete it. Annoying. It also loads so slowly that by the time you’ve saved one scan and started another, you get the “view document” or whatever of the first scan at the bottom of the new scan and it won’t go away, so you have to exit out and start all over. I wish they would have left well enough alone before because it used to be great.
  • Sync and search are broken

These two basic functions (search and sync) do not work. I always receive an empty result when searching on iOS or web app. And sync breaks constantly, with folder structure mot updating and giles added / deleted not showing changes. Obviously, completely unacceptable

It is honestly impressive how thoroughly the 2025 update has tanked the productivity and efficiency of this app when it comes to taking photos and saving them in different folders. Where there used to be “add new photos button” that was two clicks there are now 4 clicks and a scroll. And god forbid you take two photos within two minutes of each other as you wait for the “file uploaded” message to disappear. That may not seem like a lot but if you have to take 500 photos in a day it now takes a week. Please fix or revert back to the previous update
  • Can’t take photos within the app anymore

I used to be able to hit the plus sign at the top right to take photos within the app, and the file name would be the current date. This is no longer available and completely unusable to me now. It was a quick and efficient way to take photos. There are too many steps now to take a simple and quick photo within the app, and it labels it as a scan.
