There’s something wrong with the grades page. It no longer is a logical display of your grades. Someone has created a catastrophic failure.

I love being able to see everything I have to do for each class aggregated to the single To Do tab. However, it doesn’t remove completed tasks for me. The quiz I took (through Cengage/Mindtap that’s linked through the course) shows as graded, because it’s completed however the task itself still shows “Not submitted”. My app is up to date as is my phone OS. It would nice if the developers can fix that. I use iOS if that helps.

It would be great if I didn’t get 3 notifications for every single thing. I wish I could pick which ones I wanted to receive. I do not need to know every time someone posts on a forum.

Hello I am a 7th grader at a school that uses canvas This app is actually really helpful for my school work and other schooly stuff like that but, I HATE THIS APP this app means that when I am dying at home sick my teachers still expect me to do school work. Like If I could do that I’d be at school, so I know you can’t do this but you should just take down the app until the end of the school year and LET US BE SICK IN PEACE. nevertheless this is a great app and I know it really helps the teachers and stuff but really can’t we be sick without doing schoolwork along with this problem there is another one the fact that I HAVEN'T USED A PEICE OF PAPER SINCE 4TH GRADE WHEN WE STARTED USING CANVAS. Now instead of the teachers handing out worksheets they just tell us to get out our iPads and look on week at a glance (which is actually pretty helpful when you are sick and are forced to do school work) but it is very helpful that the teachers can put different resources like websites, videos and google docs that we now need for all our school work and projects the app was also helpful during COVID when our school had to go online for a couple months and they could post everything that we needed on canvas for us. Also it’s helpful when I miss a demo day in art or FCS and I can just watch a video on how to do it or when we take take notes in math or English class and I miss it. The only thing I think you could fix about this app is that it is constantly glitching out and when I say constantly mean almost twice every week and I’ll have to restart the app for it to work it also is constantly malfunctioning on the teachers end they will post something but it won’t show up in week at a glance, modules or the to-do list so we have to stop working and wait for the link to show up and sometimes the links are all there but they won’t work and i don’t know if the quiz thing is part of canvas but if it is that needs fixing as well it sometimes won’t let you in and other times it does not allow teachers to change the settings. If the developers read this I recommend you fallow my suggestions so the app is easier to use as a student and a teacher thank you for reading and have a great day!! Whenever I click on a notification about a graded assignment, or a due date change, when I click on the notification it takes me to a page that keeps loading forever, never loading the page.

The new grades menu GUI is absolutely a step backwards. It takes up half the screen and makes it impossible to see the grades of Individual assignments. Please go back to the old GUI!!! You can see grades before you ever click into a course and by the time your in the graded menu you would know which class you’re looking at. This makes the huge font with course name and grade extremely irrelevant and frustrating to use. Please roll back.

Accidentally deleted the widget that lets me see most recently graded assignments and now I can’t seem to find anyway to re add it to my Home Screen. Disappointing for a very useful feature to just disappear
