    Fire whoever is responsible for this disaster. I spend more time trying to navigate than reading. Trying to move to another section causes app to crash.

    This new ap is terrible. Impossible to navigate on my iPad and keeps crashing when I attempt to move to different sections of the paper. Embarrassment for a paper touting itself as “world class”

    Funny how the Boston Globe never publishes a news piece about its own problems—namely how poor its latest Epaper App works or actually doesn’t work. Crashes all the time and terrible UI for navigating. I will not go back to paper so I may just cancel my subscription if this App is allowed to exist in its current form for much longer. How little testing was conducted before it was released? It is shameful to expect readers to be the guinea pigs to field test poorly written and untested software.

    The only thing worse than the app is the support. The answer to all issues is to “clear the cache” Is there anyone who actually uses the epaper? The one online doesn’t work either The management should be ashamed of this

    If you plan on downloading the morning paper, jumping on a plane and reading the paper on the plane. FORGET IT. The latest version requires an internet connection to open already downloaded content. This is a downgrade from the last version. I have contacted the Globe and this is not a bug it is ”Feature” of the app. What junk.

    Let’s just roll back to the previous version which worked well. This one repeatedly crashes. Was there any testing of it, hard to believe.

    This is a terrible App. The program Constantly crashes every time I touch the iPad screen. Rebooting the iPad or deleting and redo loading the App did not help. I am cancelling my subscription

    Just when they had worked out most of the Kinks in the old app, they now have a new app that doesn't load, crashes lot the times. Great job Boston globe. Nice step backward.
  • Not an improvement

    The new version is terrible. Slow to download, hard to navigate. Trying to resize the page to make it readable often closes the app. I may just cancel my subscription.
