Cannot add products to cart. And when once in a blue moon I was finally able to add something to cart, it refuses to checkout. Well, thank you for helping me to save money.

And why same day delivery is so hard to use

How long does it take to load a receipt? All afternoon if you’ll let it.

One of the worst ever. Pay for a real embedded search engine already. If you search for "coffee" the Kirkland Colombian Supremo in the 3lb bag won't show up because "coffee" is not in the product name they keyed in. Stupid. Same goes for olive oil. Half of them are EVOO not olive oil. So dumb.

Just got a membership yesterday - will definitely come back and update this. Having come from Sam’s, I have several benchmarks to compare this app against. Mainly just features that Sam’s has that this app does not. The app feels clunky and slow, when browsing items it feels more like a dedicated browser. Costco should take notes from apps like Nike - buttery smooth Ui/ Ux items load instantly. Features I’m gonna miss from Sam’s that Costco does not have. TRANSPARENT PRICING - why are there 2 prices in the app??? Makes it really difficult to compare prices on purchases. The prices in the warehouse and the app differ vastly. If I could see that prices are lower in the warehouse that would incentivize me to go in. Very frustrating. They also hike up the price on instacart. So in theory an item could have 3 different prices - online - instacart - in-warehouse. Sam’s would never. Scan & Go - at Sam’s you could just use the app to scan all the items on your cart and pay in the app. Only line you would make was the one to exit the club. Really convenient if you are only looking for a couple of things. Or if you have a really big cart you wouldn’t have to subject yourself to long lines at cashier or self-checkout kiosk. Item locations in Warehouse - Sam’s implemented this around the time that I left. They put bay numbers on all the racks, so if you search up an item on the app it’ll tell you exactly where it’s at. No need to ask someone or wander around aimlessly. Costco will more than likely add this feature due to the prevalence of instacart and online orders. Shoppers need to know where items are at to fulfill - pick and pack orders. Oder ahead for cafeteria food - at Sam’s you could Oder food on the app. If you time it right it would be ready just as were done with your shopping - no need to wait in line. You could also order pizza on same day delivery. Same day delivery on orders over 50$ (for plus members) - really clutch feature to have and no hike on prices which Costco does through the instacart platform. Prices on batteries and tires are about the same. Costco has interstate batteries - Sam’s has Duracell branded ones. Probably a plus for Costco imo. Costco is known/recognized for treating their employees better. Costco has toptier gas at their pumps, which is miles better for your engine. Also when you are waiting in line to get gas, there is a screen that tells you which pump is available. ABSOLUTELY GENIUS. I recommend getting the executive membership and the citi bank credit card to maximize cashback. Another area in which Costco lacks. You get an extra percentage of cash back at Sam’s. Cashback gets added monthly and is redeemable instead of yearly at Costco big downside imo.

Starting from August, I can no longer check out my online order. After clicking check out, it always takes me back to the order item review page. Please fix the bug!

This app needs some serious debugging. Often times menus will glitch, not load image/items properly (if they even load at all), and show repeat items over and over. No attention to detail. Hire better coders.

The app makes it so easy to check availability and order larger items. I also appreciate that I can use the app to scan my card when I visit the pump or the store. Up

I love shopping at Costco. I love the prices and quality, but online shopping sucks. The app is very slow and laggy. It’s a horrible experience any time I need to shop online.
