  • Good but popups have to stop

    By bhgsaryh
They hit me at least once a week with a popup asking if i want to receive notifications. Every time it’s no. This isn’t a bug. Please stop this Inquirer team.
  • App almost unusable

    By JBraxx
I’m a paid digital subscriber to the Inquirer, but I’m considering cancelling because the app is so frustrating to use. The most frustrating feature is ads that auto play when I scroll past them in an article that just keep popping up even when I try to close them. And then a string of videos plays with no way to stop them except to force quit the app. It’s awful, and the developers really need to fix it.
  • To the Inquirer

    By ron sieminski
My only complaint is why are you so liberal there’s always two sides to every story. Why can’t you be more conservative at least have both sides of a story. You were always so critical of President Trump you ignore everything that’s going on with President Biden and the rest of his family. Just look at the border do you honestly think that’s what we are doing it’s right. All these illegals coming in to the this country there is a way of doing it legally but you guys are totally ignoring what’s going on.How about what happened in Afghanistan the way we got out of that country was a total disaster. you did not report it in a fairway.
  • Update

Telling me Upgrade Required, app version is no longer supported. Directs me to App Store- where there is NO upgrade available!!!!!!!
  • Won’t load or upgrade

    By former nfl package subscriber
The App Store will not upgrade and the site does not load. This problem has happened previously. Any advice. I love this site because it provides the best source of objective news and sports reporting for the Philly area. Even if since 2016 it’s comment sections are targeted by Russian bots because it is a reliable media source in a swing state.
  • Beware of the intrusive pop up ads.

    By oxjox
It’s becoming more frequent that intrusive pop up ads are taking over the screen with no way to close them. First it was a google related “you’ve won” ad and now it’s an interactive ad for a game. Twice for me, the ads appearing on this app redirected me to download them from the App Store without me touching the screen. I’ve deleted this app in favor of the mobile site. It’s saddening because the app has otherwise been greatly improved recently.
  • Hard to navigate

Trying to read the newspaper online is challenging. You start reading in the newspaper format and scrolling through pages. Suddenly you can’t scroll and have to advance the page with a click in the upper right corner. Then suddenly the newspaper format changes and there is no obvious way to switch back.
  • Good paper. Bad app.

    By DianneinPhilly
The Inquirer is an important regional paper that does high quality investigative reporting. Unfortunately the app is really poor. Much of the time the pages won’t load or will load extremely slowly such that I don’t get to read the paper. The other two newspapers to which I subscribe very rarely have such problems. They need to fix this.
  • App suddenly closes repeatedly

    By brucemn
The Inquirer app has had all kinds of issues over the years but, with one exception, is much better than it used to be. But at least once every day while reading the digital Inquirer, the add just suddenly closes and I have to re-open it (and it reopens at the first page rather than my prior location). This happens at least once every day and still happens after I uninstalled and reinstalled the app.
  • Glitchy App

    By LRez57
The Inquirer app is at best a 2 star app given the number of glitches the user experiences on a weekly basis. Most of the glitches are related to opening the story to read, which doesn’t work once or twice a week.
