Please change it back significant amount of wasted space, too much clicking and scrolling. Previously, everything needed to see was on landing page without a need to scroll.

Device stopped connecting to the app once the new update changed it. It does not resolve when all settings have been reviewed and devices have been turned on and off.
  • New Update Damaged Usefulness

The new app design is clunky and flawed. Gone is the ease of use and decent UX/UI. The app before was intuitive and data driven. You could still customize what was visible to your needs. Now, without customization, the app is useless. It also runs poorly, struggles to load, struggles to connect, and struggles to show accurate data. This was not an issue with the app previously. What is the point of a running watch and app if I can’t see more information in the app than on the watch? My family and myself chose garmin watches for the detailed information and the ease of app usage. As these are far more expensive watches, why shouldn’t I swap back to a cheaper brand if they take away the entire reason I purchased the watch? I was part of the beta testing for the app design, and very quickly noted how useless it made my experience. After given myself time to adjust, i asked to be removed from the beta as the app style did not work for me and made me engage less with my stats. No updates or changes were made between the beta and the official roll out. The app even runs poorly like the beta did.

As a longtime Garmin user I really liked the app in the past, this new update is so bad I’m considering switching to another brand, I’d recommend holding off buying any garmin products until they revert back to the old UI

IT always trying to fix something that’s not broken. At least give us the option to go back to the previous Home Screen.

Why did you ruin a good thing? I loved my Garmin! I loved Garmin connect and all of the information I could quickly see. The update has ruined it. I can’t find the information I need easily or not at all, no matter how I edit the options. I’ve spoken to tech-support and all they can do is apologize for how horrible this update is. Unfortunately, I’m being forced have to buy a different fitness watch that actually gives me the information I need. It angers me because I don’t have the money to buy a new fitness watch, and there’s nothing wrong with this fitness watch except what the developers have done to the app interface. You’ve turned something wonderful into a piece of garbage.
  • Bad bad new UX design

The new design is terrible. So little information takes up so much space. You have to tap & scroll a lot to see anything. We don’t need a big graph on every stat. Go back to Design 101 class. I want the data presented concisely, not spread out over multiple screens. Ugh.

Worst ever! Everything was so straight forward before. I want the old app back. This new one is unusable.
  • New look is terrible

The new look is not user friendly. The home display makes no sense and is hard to set up and confusing to read.
