Seventeen days ago I only knew little Spanish. So little I couldn’t understand but only two words being around a Spanish speaker. Now I’m totally confident I can effectively communicate. It’s insane how fast you learn using this app. It’s actually pretty addictive too. It’s a quick and easy teacher. I am one of those people who struggles to learn new languages. I rarely even try because I can never retain anything. I even tried the other game-ify type apps. They just don’t click with me. I get it and then I lose it shortly after. Memrise has you well, memorize everything you’re learning hearing it from real people so it’s easy to listen and learn. They make you review what you already learned plenty of times or you can even do it without a lesson in your spare time. They even have real videos that you can watch from the internet and extract new words from those too. I’m learning so much, so fast that Italian already have Italian and German next on my list. Im surely confident in learning languages now. I love this app. Just get it! It changed my life!

I’ve really been enjoying the app but at the moment there’s a bug in the Hindi learning where it won’t recognize a response that is correct. It’s “5% of the bill is sufficient”. It highlights in green but makes the sound of an error. And I can’t get past it!

This is a fantastic way to learn a language through staggered repetition with actual native speakers, and you get an excellent courseload for free, if you can stand the ads (which aren’t too bad). The “fit and finish” is deeply lacking however, like they rushed the app out the door, despite it being released nearly 10 years ago. The buttons are all flat, boxy and boring. Text overlays on top of other visual elements and vice versa. Positions of elements jump around after making a selection. Some text is obnoxiously small, while others are quite large (I’m on iPad by the way). The course flow and content is designed very well, it’s just a bit sad they don’t put much effort on the user experience — a UI overhaul is needed.

I’ve learned sooooooooooooo much totally recommend it

Muy buena aplicación para aprender

Helped me learn Japanese

This app helps me learn German one lesson at a time and I love how you can choose any language you want, Best language app I’ve ever used!

Im currently learning Japanese on Memrise, and my experience has been great. Its very easy to use and way different than any other app. Thought im not sure why, but half of the word lists on here tend to never load. Not sure if its a bug or anything, but it limits me quite abit. Over all this is a good app and i'd 100% recommend!

I love this app so far I’m learning Spanish but I wish you can have a Conversation like you can respond and use voice kinda

I LOVE IT!!!!
