  • AI Slop Machine

Got a year subscription right before all of Image Comics was removed. Basic functions are missing and request are ignored on their support forum. And the AI Slop avalanche just grosses me out. I won’t be back.

  • Same price, less content.

GlobalComix lost the ENTIRETY of Image Comics content, and every DCU comic is now behind a paywall, yet GlobalComix feels they are worth the same as they were before they lost this MASSIVE amount of content. Go check out SweetShop and get rid of this garbage app from these garbage creators.

  • Terrible app

While the reading experience of comics you own is fine, if all you’re trying to do is read comics you already own the app makes it as hard as possible, there’s no way to filter to just comics you own, I own 9 volumes of a comic, so I open the series and click start reading, and it dumps me into a comic I could buy, not one I own. I have to scroll through a list of comics in the series I don’t own, find the one I want, and then read it from there, and do this every time. There is no way to filter to things you own, even if you download everything you own locally on your device you still have to wade through what equates to hundreds of ads to open, what I cannot stress enough, I already own and have downloaded.

only got this app to read Something is Killing The Children which isn't even on here anymore, the search bar uses AI, the interface is really annoying and looks bad in terms of UI/UX. Comixology is a dollar cheaper and has a 30 day free trial, this has no free trial unless you do a yearly subscription and its only 7 days free. Naaah

  • Discovery is confusing

Vertical Strips should be a seperate category or tab at the bottom. No way to filter out just the vertical comics. Sub got more expensive and they lost boom and image comics. Doesn't have the value the two main comics publisher's apps have. I wouldn't sub for marvel and dc, their actual apps have way more content. They do have some decent indie publishers like DarkHorse and TopCow but the catalog varies. Wish all purchases allowed for drm-fee export but only certain ones do abd you have to know to do that on the site.

  • Unbelievably bad app, 5 star reviews are bots

I don’t understand how it has such high reviews. My continue reading constantly takes me to comics I don’t own for a preview, and completely forgets where I left off. Also the UI for your owned comics can’t be sorted or grouped into folders, so it’s just a dump of them.

  • Gold membership is useless

I love the app, but there’s no point to having gold membership anymore. I was reading watchmen but now i can’t because it’s behind a paywall now. I’m essentially paying extra for what I would have without gold membership. Cancelling that subscription because what’s the point.

  • Good App

I like the app it provides a good reading interface. My only complaint is that it does not reopen to the last comic read or any sort of history to make it easier to return. Instead I have to search through the comics in my library. Further it’s also difficult to read the titles so if looking at the same title it’s sometimes hard to tell which issue number is present. Maybe a list view or a way to sort might be nice also.
