Good idea but someone rushed this out to make money. They would have been better off making a bird feeder with a camera holder and partner with a couple video companies for the camera. The app and/or camera has limited functionality and needs work. Most of the companies these days give you some minimum cloud storage or integrations for free. Kind expensive subscription options. Some of the menus are in Chinese which does not really give me confidence that my videos and network password information is secure. To add to the trust levels, and this is the main reason I am returning this, the app says “AI bird recognition service free forever” but the manual says free for 1 year.

There was a bug in the server that prevented pairing [testing???]. The AI did think I had ‘other worldly’ birds since it was challenged about region and likely birds — we’ll see…
  • Total scam

Got a $150 dollar bird feeder with a camera and then after setting it up you have to pay an additional $140 a year to play back videos of your birds. Absolutely ridiculous.
