I am forced to buy the moment app just for this feature alone. The iPhone pro has amazing pro features. But I love grabbing my phone for faster social media content. The native camera app auto white balance lock, wouldn’t make Final Cut Camera any LESS pro.

I have been using Final Cut Camera ever since it came out, but with iOS 27 my external memory cards no longer work. I keep getting a message saying they need to be formatted as exFat. All my memory cards are formatted correctly and they are the same cards I’ve used since the app was released. Until this is fixed I cannot recommend it.

No matter how many times I format the drive as Exfat, the app refuses to use it. It keeps saying it needs an Exfat formatted drive. I have tried 3 different ones, still the same problem. Useless if I can’t use an external storage so I guess it’s back to Blackmagic Camera.

I love seeing the continued development and advancement of features in Final Cut Camera. That said, there’s an unfixed bug I’ve seen since the prior app—the record run is still set to ‘time of day’ by default. I don’t know who wants this, but fine, whatever. The bug is that when I change it to ‘record run’ that setting change doesn’t stick. As far as the new design goes, I like having exposure monitoring tools like a histogram, but I feel like the new interface for changing exposure is not as good as the prior version of this app. The main reason I use final cut camera over Blackmagic camera is because I liked the interface more. I’ll keep using it and hopefully get used to it, but my gut says the larger, fixed vertical adjustment “wheel“ was better in the prior version.

Love this app but it has become unusable on my iPhone 17 for whatever reason. Tried giving it a fresh install but no luck, hope this bug is addressed soon.

Good update, histogram welcome addition. Please add option to remember Histogram settings, goes back to default after closing app.

App is a complete fail without this incredibly basic feature. Selecting the front or back microphone is the second most obvious feature, but the developers are too clueless to realize this. The entire management team should be fired for general incompetence.

It’s nice but allow the use of LUT files and I’ll be happy to switch over. Kino and Blackmagicdesign is good in that area but lacks what this app does better.
