I tried using this app a couple times – and would love to use it despite it’s many drawbacks (which I hope get corrected over time) – but the fact that it’s not iPad compatible was already a non-starter for me.

I normally use a different app but decided to try this one. The app does as it says and works for its purpose. I am able to share a link to invite. The extra options are nice if they worked. I like the idea of a shared photo album to contribute, however it does not actually allow you to create this album. I like the idea of a countdown widget but it just says to select an event and doesn’t select or tell you how to do it.

can I deliver a handmade invite ?

I loved the ease of using the app on the backend but I have gotten so many texts back saying they can’t see the invitation (Apple and Android users) and it’s been frustrating…. I was really hoping for this to be my place to do invites but with as many people couldn’t view/open it (even though details say it’s android friendly) 😭

Seriously. Why should I have a subscription for this. Ridiculous and greedy Apple. This should be a standard feature and you’re seriously going to nickel and dime me to invite friends? Forget it

This makes invitations so easy and give people the flexibility to confirm in time without jeopardizing the whole plan.

I really like the concept of the Invites app, but the large widget is disappointing. I used a high-quality photo taken on my iPhone 15 Pro Max as my event background. Inside the app, it looks perfectly clear, but on the widget, it is heavily blurred and looks terrible. I checked my settings and "Remove Background Preview" is definitely off. It seems like the system is forcing a blur for text legibility, but it completely ruins the look of the widget. Please fix this so we can actually enjoy our photos on the Home Screen!

Like Image Playground and Sports, this is another oddly half-baked Apple app. The app is attractive and seemed OK to use, but when an actual invitation was sent the result was a DISASTER. No one — no one — used the app to reply. Some specifics: 1) giving total access to your photos is a bad idea; 2) text recipients could not tell that the invitation needed to be opened; and 3) it’s an Android nightmare — the link looks like a scam.
