  • Good Idea, Not Very Practical

Having the ability to add a playlist and photo album to the invitation is such good idea, but guest sent the invite has an issue accessing the invitation. They received and error message that they could not see the invite info. Even after I restarted my phone, reset network settings deleted and restarted the app.

I’m going to give this app a 5 star review for what everyone else can do!
  • Ok Start, But A Lot Of Room To Improve

I’m not really sure why this is a separate app versus a feature of Calendar, but be that as it is, I expected quite a bit more slickness out Apple. The interface is extremely straight forward and it does look pretty when totally filled out for an event. That’s about the extent of the positives. The weaknesses are many. Perhaps most shocking is a surprisingly weak integration into iOS. The lack of integrated ability to accept and update status right from in iMessage seems like a big miss. Requiring all parties to download the app killed the RSVP functionality for us when we first used it as no one did. Elsewhere in the app, the shared photo library and playlist seem like a good idea… but they’re locked to the app. When combined with the fact the feature is tied to iCloud+…. it’s just unclear who this is actually for or how Apple thinks this is going to build an audience. Not the company’s finest software GTM.
  • Need Hide Guest list option

The basic hide guest list is missing, i dont want all guests to see others guests , for it needs apple Subscription to use and miss basic functionality. Else the app is decent and simple
  • Integrated but still feels like beta version.

I was very hopeful for this Apple integrated app but it’s still feels like a beta version. I don’t believe there is a version for the Mac yet. More importantly, many invitees cannot open the link and/or it takes them several tries. I think Apple needs to refine either the app or something within OS26.
  • More Access

Anyone should be able to respond to an invite with just their email or phone number, not have to create a whole iCloud account just to reply, especially if you don’t own an iPhone!!!
  • Apple Needs to Improve

I love the app and want it to be better so we can actually use it. Comments should have the option of being public or private, we should be able to hide guest list once we have launched the event, for android users, we should not require them to log in to rsvp, and as a host I should have more flexibility to add or change rsvp responses to guests manually.

Why would there be a subscription fee? It’s an apple app??
  • PLEASE add basic functionality

Invites is currently useless for anyone who actually wants to manage their event in the same app where invites are sent. Why can’t you RSVP on behalf of guests? Why can’t you message ONLY those who RSVP’d “yes” or those who haven’t RSVP’d? It’s as though the people who made this app have never hosted an event, nor did they consult anyone who hosts before releasing the app. Every other invitation tool/platform has the basic functionality I mentioned prior.
  • Worthless

Doesn’t let android users RSVP without a verification process
