  • Cutting edge but also somehow lagging?

    Claude is extremely helpful for research and technical things. I use it for hobby projects, getting help learning new things in IT and Cybersecurity, and researching complex topics. I like that it doesn’t automatically make me feel like the smartest person in the world and intellectually challenges me at times. Anthropic is a solid company especially when it comes to AI safety research. However, Anthropic you are lagging behind in two areas. While you support open sourcing certain aspects of the models, you have yet to release a completely open weight model. Even OpenAI has done this now. You were once a leader in transparency but you’re letting that fade. It’s time to be more transparent and release an open weight model. Secondly, you need to fix the limit issues and invest more in infrastructure. I pay $20/mo for this but still run into limit problems sometimes. Even tiny a company in comparison like Mistral has a cheaper subscription yet less limit issues. Get with the times asap or get left behind.

  • Forgets Uploaded Content

    I paid for a whole year of the Pro Plan, I rarely use it but when I needed his help creating documents. He kept on over and over forgetting stuff I’ve already told him. The chats were still there. He wastes so many turns by having to correct simple mistakes. I do prefer Claude over Chat GPT so far but if these problems persist. I will surely make the jump and condition there app as I have Claude.

    I used to like Claude AI until I realized it was the illegal hidden hotel room camera of AI apps!! App will flag keywords out of context and the Claude safety team will review your private conversations. Do not think what you read will not be read and reviewed by a human, with no regard for civil liberties! Insufficient disclosures!

  • ChatGPT wins but Claude handles complex tasks better

    I’ve tried using Claude for research and content planning, and while it can help brainstorm, it falls short in key areas. It struggles with understanding or writing for multiple audiences, which makes it hard to rely on for polishing or finalizing content. The app also has extremely strict content filters that block anything even slightly romantic or adult in tone, which gets in the way of writing certain genres or styles. On top of that, there are persistent bugs: text-to-speech rarely works and still uses up messages when it fails, file saving into artifacts is unreliable, and its memory permissions don’t stay active. For the subscription price, I expected more stability and flexibility. I hope future updates make it more dependable and usable for real creative work. We all know and hate the message limit and there’s nothing like being dead in the middle of a project and running out of messages. The photo upload limit is beyond ridiculous and there have also been moments where the advice it gave felt ethically off or inconsistent with its own safety rules. It’s confusing when the app blocks harmless prompts but then allows suggestions that seem questionable in context. That inconsistency makes it hard to trust for important tasks.

  • Fewer Messages When You Need It the Most

    It’s impossible to get ChatGPT to shutup. Claude on the other hand has too few messages received before it starts saying you have to wait before sending any new messages. Why are these companies so terrible?!

  • Extremely Limited Queries

    Subscribed to the pro plan knowing they limit your queries but was not expecting how ridiculous they do. Using this for academic research and it used up the allotted searches in less than an hour. What’s the point of using this then? Waste of money and time. Great model but Anthropic’s pricing structure is a rip off.
