I was hoping to use this to work on my floor plan and see a 3D view. The 3D view was terrible and looked like something out of a weird, scary movie but not even clean lines and it was so dark it was hard to see. Very disappointing! Cancelling my free trial!

It has trouble with doorways and figuring out where they start and stop or where the very top of a doorway is. There’s no way to manually move the line when it fails to detect. For better or for worse, the USA is for all intense and purposes, not metric. Saying something is “7.98 feet” is completely useless. What we need is feet and fractions of an inch 7’ 11 3/4’ which is red as “seven feet eleven and three quarters of an inch” that is what all contractors work in and it is what they expect when you give them the specifications of a room.

Downloaded this for a try and didn’t realize it $7 a week, I would maybe buy the app for $7 total, totally setup to suck money from you.

Had to start a project with my camera. Required use of the camera. Literally could not start a project without it. Super lame

I don’t know where to even start with this one. Allot of apps say “free” until you download and see that downloading it was the only thing “free” about it.. This app goes against the grain.. Most of the features are actually free.. And they’re frickin’ awesome. The measurements are so precise. It not only takes measurements, but literally adds the furniture you own to a 3D floor plan of your entire building you’ve scanned so it can be taken account of during whatever project you’ve got going on. It also allows you to convert your floor plans to a PDF format if you’re the old school 2D planning type of guy/gal.. This review doesn’t have space for all the things this could be used for.. But it’s a must have for anybody in carpentry, construction, or somebody just planning a project..

Been trying to use all day. Keeps crashing. Very frustrating.

Would not let me try it without committing to $7 a week.

I tried to scan a 2bedroom of 1400ft2 and it constantly crashed. I used other free app, they are way better than this

I signed up for the 3 day free trial. Tried cancelling thru the app before free trial ended... good luck. Now have to go through the process of fighting the charge thru my credit card company. Scam scam scam

Never tried this kind of app before, but I downloaded 3D Snap cause I wanted to scan some old stuff in my attic before selling it. The 3D scan thing is kinda wild, I just waved my phone around a dusty chair and it actually made a model that looked like it, not perfect but close enough to show my friends. The AI modeling stuff is cool too, like I can take a photo of a lamp and it kinda builds it in 3D, but sometimes it makes weird shapes if the lighting is bad or I move too fast. Honestly it’s fun to play with, I wasn’t expecting much but it’s kinda addictive. Would be nicer if it was a bit faster, but still, for what I needed it worked and I’m impressed! Gonna try scanning more random stuff for fun and see what else it can do!
