Extension has the same functionality in Safari as in other browsers. Thanks!

When I use the Chrome extension, Brave, and others, the Passkey works, but I can't find a solution to make it work with Safari. It seems there's a limitation compared to Safari, or I don't know if I need to do something on my end. In any case, if I need to do something on my end, it should be easier to find the solution.

What’s the point of an app or extension that only takes you to a website for you to manually log in? Repeatedly. I literally don’t know what purpose this app or extension serves. And even worse, the error message on the website EVERYTIME when I try to log in: “Something went wrong. Unable to sign in to Proton Pass. Internet connection lost”. Best case, this is a joke or social experiment. Worst case, Proton had part-time middle school interns design this app and no one is managing it.

I love Protonmail and their suite of apps. Always coming out with more for their customers. Never had any problems with proton pass or any of their apps.

I’ve used many password apps and this is the best if you use multiple platforms. I can use different security measures depending on what I’m using at the time and it saves it. Crazy to find a company that actually makes life easier. Thanks Proton

Very nice service tons of features and wonderful ecosystem. Love the UI and how smooth it is. Autofill is mostly ok, not as good as others but cromulent. There is no biometric auth only pin, this is far behind other vendors. This also freezes my browser regularly. It took a while to figure out but as soon as I disabled it, my browser stopped freezing. This is close to being excellent, not quite there yet.

I’m a longtime 1Password user and I’d like to switch because I have Proton Unlimited. I tried ProtonPass about a year ago and thought it wasn’t quite there. I’ve been trying it again on Mac and iOS. About a month in, it’s working beautifully. Browser extensions (Safari and Brave) fill info smoothly, and the app is easy to use. A few small app improvements might be nice, such as getting it to stay sorted by alpha and adding a few more categories, but I think those will come in time. It’s excellent. Highly recommend!

Having used 1Password for all these years it is hard to use something else, but being a subscriber, unintentionally at first, I gave this one a try. I find myself always reverting back to 1password because this one can’t get it right…

Proton Pass has progressed through development pretty rapidly in the past year; with the addition of vault sharing and identities and a Safari extension it has now replaced my previous password manager after over a decade of use. Started to change direction and Proton seems to be responding to the user base. Passkeys work well. Will be glad to see biometic authentication be a little smoother and available in browser extensions (Safari, Chrome, Firefox).
