I have Torque Pro running on a very old Android that was given to me. I use it mainly for transmission temperature but have 8 PIDs I monitor on my Chevy Express Van. I wanted to switch to a iPhone but this isn’t the solution. Doesn’t have PIDs I need. It doesn’t import them correctly from the vehicle. I can get all the PID settings I need from Torque Pro. Fusion Is too buggy to add them in the editor and use. I give up. I’m going to buy a newer Android and keep using Torque Pro.

Great for basic diagnostic functions. While there is some customization and additional vehicle support, this area is limited. This app could Great for basic diagnostic functions. Works as advertised with Veepeak OBD2. Two things missing I wish it had. 1)CarPlay dashboards currently limited to text only. No gauges. Would be nice to have gauges. 2)It has add-on packs to get car specific codes (PIDs) for lots of makes and models, but strangely enough NO Honda. Other folks like Autel’s Diag line of apps have Honda add-ons, so I know it’s possible. Not sure why it isn’t available here. They might want to be a bit more explicit on their website that they do not support Honda-specific PIDs, given the popularity of Honda.

Works on all my GM cars. Eliminates the guess work even if you don’t fit it yourself.
  • Not for Toyota

Do not use if you have a 22 or newer Toyota. It will let you do very basic scans, but not anywhere near what others can do.
  • Great App
