Great title! Loving it, but for some reason my file on Canary Mines regularly crashes, making it unplayable. It’s my last park for that level. Please look into this!
  • A Trip Down Memory Lane

Roller Coaster Tycoon Classic isn’t just a game - it’s a trip down memory lane. The moment I opened it up, I was transported right back to my childhood, sitting at the old family computer for hours, completely lost in designing coasters and managing tiny pixelated theme parks. Everything I loved about the original games is here. I didn’t realize how much I missed it until I started playing again. It’s exactly how I remembered it, only smoother and easier to play on modern devices. What really hit me was how quickly I fell back into that familiar rhythm: carefully placing benches, tweaking coaster layouts, and trying to turn a profit without making guests sick. It’s such a simple concept, but it still feels just as rewarding and fun all these years later. It’s a piece of my childhood brought back to life. If you grew up playing the originals, this version is everything you could hope for. Five stars, no hesitation. Now, can we please get the same treatment for Zoo Tycoon? That was another childhood favorite that deserves a proper revival.

This game is really fun. I love creating my own theme park but I wish there was a couple more roller coasters and I wish you could put a petting zoo in. The handyman if you want a big park, you’re gonna need a lot.
  • Unable to use external monitor

Update 6/23 - the new updates have fixed a lot of the issues I was having. The resolution is now awesome, the moment I load in. Buttons work, clicking works. I am not seeing any major issues there. However, there is still one issue that is rather quirky/annoying. I am on a MacBook Pro using a LG 49” ultra-wide, curved monitor as my external monitor. My external sites to the left of my computer and is connected via USB-C and set as an extended display. My computer and the game are fully up-to-date. When I use the right click of the mouse to move the map around it works great until I let go of the mouse button. The moment I release the right mouse button my cursor jumps back to the main monitor in approximately the same position as it was in on the right side of my external display. This happens only if I am on the right hand side of my LG display. If my cursor is on the left half of my display, it then my cursor jumps to the right half in the same position it was in on the left. So it seems that the cursor is jumping one standard display width to the right each time I release the right-button on the mouse after moving the map. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Original Post: When I open the game on an external monitor, the buttons highlight but do not show that anything is being clicked. If I move the game to the built in MacBookPro monitor, then all works just fine. If I start a new game and move the map back to the external monitor (which sits to the left of my MacBook Pro), the game things my mouse is off the left edge and keeps moving the map left repeatedly. It appears that the game only recognizes the built in monitor and will not run properly on the external at all.

Great game, wish it came with the sandbox mode and everything else. I get they have to make money, but with a subscription service you’d think they’d be getting plenty. Also, hope they add the other rollercoaster tycoon games to Apple Arcade.

So, when ever I place down a ententanr, police guy, handy men or a mechanic for some reason my money goes down and soon I reach to the negative money. Can you fix that please? Bye!

The game is fun and awesome but the only thing that’s annoying is not being able to put the admission fee up but other then that the game is just like the old school days
  • Needs a little work

Pixels were as big as your head 25 years ago because they had to be. Now they are used in retro action and puzzle games for nostalgia but interfere with quickly scanning and understanding a dense “manager” sim. The game could be fun like it was in 2000 but pixel art on a small tablet screen hurts the brain. It’s a good game to bring back retro play but a bad game style for outdated art. Also please switch the game rotation from the status corner so we don’t bring up the control center when we need to rotate.
