The game is good and fun, I’ve played the original and the steam port, And it has been apart of my childhood. The part that annoys me is the crunchy roll subscription, and it would be nice if you didn’t need one to play this Also some puzzles just don’t make sense for me like 90% of the time I’ll be on a guide video to solve them. The game and design are great and the gameplay is fun, but the subscription is just a bit annoying and so are some puzzles.

'Ao Oni' as a game is amazing. The story is well put together, the puzzles keep you guessing, and each 'Oni' design is unique. But there is just one problem, you need to purchase a Crunchyroll subscription to even try it. I've played this game a lot and I even had it before the game was added in to Crunchyroll, if the series needs a subscription to try out; why not add in the two other games? You already have the first 'Ao Oni' in the franchise, so why not gatekeep the rest?... Either way, the only problem with this game is the Crunchyroll subscription. The rest of the game is perfection!

I understand that this port just came out, but I wasn’t even able to get 10 minutes into the game due to the fact Ao Oni needs to be nerfed. I have tried dozens of times into even reaching the first closet but no matter what he always gets into the room. The original game doesn’t have this problem at all and anyone can reach the first closet without problem, but in this version it is quite literally impossible. I would absolutely continue playing this game if this issue is resolved with Ao Oni’s programming, but as for now I must bring it to a halt until this is fixed.

It’s a great game, I’ve played it in the past on pc but the maneuverability is just much hard for us big thumbed folks out here. Would love to be able to use my backbone to play crunchyroll games on my iOS
