    Nest was superior in every way. Meanwhile Google Home freezes, fails to load, and misses events. It has zero to do with my internet connection since I’m still able to connect and compare Google Home with Nest side by side. You bit off way more than you could chew by taking over Nest.

    The new improved version is GARBAGE! I’d give the rating a zero if I could. The new layout is stupid! You have to go all the way to the history to view the next video. Events do NOT record the way they’re set up to. If I wasn’t under contract with ADT I’d takes hammer to the whole system. JUNK

    When my camera shows that there is movement, I click on it and see who is there . But by the time it loads the person is already gone takes to long. But when I click on a camera when there is no movement it pulls it up quickly.

    I do not like this app. Converting my Nest Door bell was the worst mistake I’ve made. I have 4 more other camera that will not be convert over to this google app. It’s the worst when it comes to view activity in real time. It lags horribly when try to look at recorded video. It kicks you out forcing you to log in again. And worst of all, it won’t let you convert back to the nest app. This app is so bad that I’m actually thinking about purchasing another nest doorbell just to add it to my nest account again.. 🤦🏾‍♂️

    The camera is constantly coming off line and the reboot process is painful and CS not accessible

  • So few options available. Cannot update wifi without deleting and reinstalling the device.
