    The software is fairly easy to use. BUT, every time you log on to use it, you have to click off an ad to purchase their subscription. It’s incredibly annoying.

    I love being able to design on the go but the phone app is a nightmare - constantly crashing when I hit “make it”. Have had to reinstall and set up over and over. It is super frustrating as I was just getting comfortable with how creative I could be, and there is absolutely no explanation for why it’s all so glitchy.

  • Good machine but the app gives me headaches

    I recently purchased a cricut explore 4 to cut out labels for my business. I was able to get everything set up and working quickly but over this past week updates to this app have caused me to be unable to cut anything. Using the same machine I’ve been using and all projects were designed for, the app now tells me that the project is not compatible with my machine. It gives me the option to select a different machine or customize the project and when I select my machine from the list of compatible machines I get the same message again. When I try to customize the project, a different project is opened. I can’t cut my projects just fine if I use the desktop app, however the set up for that is horrendous. Cricut and windows do not seem to communicate well and it took me over an hour just to get them connected. Even following the guide from cricut did not help because the settings (for Bluetooth on windows) they said I needed to change in order to make it work did not exist. The USB connection simply did not work because my computer could not identify the machine no matter what I did and I could not find any guide to fix that issue.
