So rewarding and eventful. Not too challenging, just so many oppurtunities to get rewards but not too easy that it’s boring. I am embarrassingly obsessed with this game. The colors are so cool and captivating and I’m not even autstc. Download rn

This game is pretty fun but I hit a brick wall around levels 18-20 (technically, a slab wall as you shall see). I was willing to spend a little bit to get some T-cash here and there to move some things along––be it when the piggy bank fills up or when there was a really good deal for $5 or less. I think I spent about $10-12. However, even with that the rate at which building supplies come on trains is what made me stop and delete the app. I had tons of coin building up (10-20k) but couldn’t progress because, despite building a number of community buildings to increase population, the supplies you need once the first stage is complete are never enough. Once I got the hang of things I was pretty efficient at filling train orders and helicopter orders without much wasted time or product. Problem is, everytime I got train deliveries they rarely brought what I needed to complete a building, or it was just 1 item that I needed many more of. I had like 6 buildings waiting on materials and had enough to complete just one with the exception of slabs. The slabs never came despite filling 5-6 train orders in a row. Even when I got the marketplace there’s no way to hire the dude and just pick building materials to buy with coins––everything he offers apart from chance is stuff you can produce on your own (at least as far as I could tell). So I was stuck needing at least 3-4 more slabs of just to complete ONE building. This is entirely unsustainable unless you want to dump serious money or just waste your life playing the game nonstop to fulfill an insane amount of train orders that take hours for just one train to return. I was willing to spend about $10 a month, maybe $15 on occasion to play this game for the long haul. But I realized it would be more like $50 a month (or more!) just to be able to get all the train supplies necessary––again, unless I wanted to waste half my day every day for weeks on end. This is not to mention all the other areas you need t-cash for. Maybe things change once you get into higher levels. Admittedly, I had just restored the airport though didn’t try it, so maybe that would have made a difference. But based on the other reviews I’ve read I can only assume it gets worse, so I decided to opt out entirely before I got too invested. Things might also have been different if I joined a team. However, I didn’t want to interact with others just to keep advancing. I would have continued on if they had modified the game so that it wasn’t such a crazy money sucker. I didn’t mind when the temple side mission hit the energy wall and I had to play the games a lot to continue (again, without pouring money in for t-cash and items to help you in the games). I started getting much better at the games and realized that for the harder ones you just need a bit of luck (like getting the color eliminator ball adjacent to another special item to spread the latter out all across the board). It seems you’d get a lucky play after about 5-6 tries on the super hard ones once you run out of all the bonus items. Just for context, I made it to the stages where you have to destroy the milk bottles in the squares before I quit. That said, I like how you can move almost all the buildings around (for free!) and design things however you want. I was a big SimCity fan back in the day, so this was similar in a lot of ways but with a lot more depth of agriculture and commerce. Gameplay is pretty smooth, graphics are good, it is all well designed, and everything is attractive. I don’t like how easy it is to accidently click on using t-cash to filfull something. That happened once by accident and I lost like 10 bills, which is a lot in the earlier levels. If it weren’t for the money grab it I would have rated it much higher, probably 5 stars. You may get more mileage than I did, but I’m assuming you’ll encounter the same pitalls I did and will have to decide somewhat early on if you want to waste large amounts of time or money. I would have been fine to put $5-15 in each month for the fun, but seems they didn’t design it that way. Shame.

The game is hard to play and very frustrating. Not enjoyable and also very very expensive They make it very easy to mistakenly spend game money, no confirmation or anything. This game is the definition of rage bait, please, we beg you, save yourself and do not play

This game is so greedy and unfair I’ve been playing this game for a long time now and I haven’t seen something this bad in a long time it’s so bad that they won’t even show my 3 star review that I just posted. They give you a super hard match 3 level almost every match you play, it’s impossible to earn energy, money, and XP. I’ve spent 1 hour just trying to beat an easy level, mention these levels used to easy to beat back then and now they are impossible to beat. Beware when you play this game the first thing this game will try to make you get is the T-Cash.

Township used to be fun…now it’s just very frustrating & sad. The “latest version” of the game wants you to pay for everything & that is unacceptable. They make the challenges impossible to complete, and it’s become frustrating not fun. My whole team has decided not to use ‘real money” & we have lost a lot of players :( I hope the designers read & care about the players that have been loyal for years..I have been a daily player since 2018! Very sad.

If I could give this no stars I would. Beware of all the in-app purchases. They will take your money and when the game crashes from one of their updates, you could lose everything with no app support. Repetitive mini game forces you to do a "candy crush" game in order to advance.
  • Has become a $$$ pit

Like everything in this country, the cost of play just keeps increasing. As my 9 y/o granddaughter said, you only get 5 more plays for that much money? It has become onerous to play, you can’t finish a level on the match play without using all the money one has to purchase. It is ridiculous and will not longer play.
  • Their prices went up

I used to love this game and didn’t mind spending real money because the bundles were affordable and the gameplay was fun. Now the pricing and difficulty have gotten out of control. Bundles cost more give less, and the puzzles feel intentionally designed to push players into spending money just to pass levels, and they now the lease expensive is $2 to pass 1 single level. What used to be a relaxing and fun game is now just frustrating.
