I absolutely love the Medium app! It has become my go-to platform for reading articles and blog posts on a wide range of topics. Here's why I think it's such a great app: 1. User-friendly interface: The app is very intuitive and easy to navigate. It has a clean and minimalistic design, making it a pleasure to use. 2. High-quality content: Medium is a platform that attracts a lot of talented writers and experts in various fields. As a result, the articles and blog posts available are of excellent quality and provide valuable insights and information. 3. Personalized recommendations: The app uses an algorithm to analyze your reading preferences and suggest articles that align with your interests. This feature has helped me discover many amazing writers and topics that I wouldn't have come across otherwise. 4. Diverse range of topics: Medium covers a wide range of topics, from technology and entrepreneurship to self-improvement and personal development. Whatever your interests may be, you're likely to find relevant articles on Medium. 5. Interactive reading experience: The app allows readers to highlight and bookmark sections of articles, making it easy to revisit key points or save articles for later. It also offers a commenting feature, allowing users to engage in discussions with the authors and other readers. 6. Offline reading: One of my favorite features of the Medium app is the ability to download articles for offline reading. This is incredibly convenient when I'm traveling or in areas with poor internet connectivity. Overall, I highly recommend the Medium app to anyone who enjoys reading and wants access to a vast collection of high-quality articles. It's a great platform for expanding your knowledge, exploring new topics, and engaging with a community of passionate writers and readers.

I am recently (about 4 weeks now) having issues with the Responses to an article. Sometimes they refuse to load. Almost more annoying is that 4 out of 5 times recently when I write a response I get an error message. I respond regularly to some of my favorite writers so this is getting pretty annoying.

Of a couple of consistent technical issues since I first began using and paying for the Medium App in July of 2023. Number 1: With only the iPhone Application at my disposal, I’m unable to both send and receive private messages. This causes a few issues with communicating with otherwise willing publishers within the site. [E.G. If my submission is temporarily rejected for any reason, I’m unable to know their reasoning or that they’ve even responded at all, thus presuming they were disinterested entirely or unwilling to submit my work thereafter agreeing to do so beforehand]. An in app link that allows for viewing, receiving, and sending private messages would fix this entirely. Number 2: With only use of the platform through its mobile device app, I’m completely unable to edit or construct my “About” sections of my profile. This discourages others from giving my work a chance. The same with creating a publication within Medium; it allowed me to begin in creating the profile, but wouldn’t allow for both the customization nor the proper tools to communicate with and/or control who shows interest/attempts to communicate with me. Number 3: About 1 in 4 attempts, when responding to other’s work and/or other’s responses to my work, upon clicking “send” the app will freeze up and not allow me to follow through. Therefore, I have to completely close the application and reboot it, thereafter still having only a 75% chance of success in sending my response. Its just a minor bug for the Apple Store version of the application, to the best of my knowledge. Overall, its still sincerely one of the very best apps I’ve ever used, downloaded, enjoyed, subscribed to, supported, etcetera. These issues are merely things to consider fixing if Medium desires to have those, such as myself, go from considering the app rating of 4.75 to an unparalleled 5.00 across the board. Knowing the time and work the company puts forth to ensure greatness for its writers and readers, alike, I’m sure the aforementioned will be issues you’d like to know about. All my best—Cheers.
