App is free, but requires subscription to continue to use. Thought it’d be a little something to entertain on breaks like Sudoku, but Sudoku is free. Waste of setting up account stuff. And now they have my Facebook stuff and can’t remove it. It’s stealing my info and I don’t appreciate it.

I have had this app for about 9-10 months and I try to use it everyday, at least doing the basic puzzles and daily training. I will say it does take time to build up to more advanced levels, so if you feel at first it is too easy, it will get harder (unless you’re like me and STILL stuck at the basic math levels…yikes, not my specialty, but I have gotten better). I like the variety of training and can tell a difference in my mental sharpness in how much quicker I can answer questions (even math). So at first it may not seem to be doing much, but over time I feel sharper. The app is easy to use and navigate, and I have never had issues with bugs or weird ads (I paid annually). There are daily featured workouts which mixes up categories and when you reach certain levels you can unlock new games. My one complaint is there are a few games where the rules are not clear and, maybe I’m missing something, but I don’t follow the logic. One such is the bubble game finding pairs of bubbles to pop, but it’s not a deal breaker, it all works fine.

What a great application. I have been trying to get away from social media for sometime. This app is extraordinary for helping with that.

I would like to know whether it is possible to let users have more chances in free options

I am currently on day 2, but this has rejuvenated my love for learning. It has been an engaging and simple way to help rewire my brain. I am a recovering alcoholic, and survivor from childhood trauma. The mental clarity and focus I have gotten from simple tasks like these residing my brain has been a game changer for me!

I love this app because people can get better at stuff and it’s not only one thing but more! I’m even using this amazing app

While I believe in the good intentions of the app, and it is handy for vocabulary, it does require a certain baseline of knowledge before stepping in. Definitely not made for everyone. Additionally, particularly in the “writing” and “speaking” portions, it rewards the user for knowing words that are uncommon, unwieldy, archaic, and often, without nuance. In particular, I find games like Synonym or Eloquence to be frustrating because whether in speech or literature, the words that grant the most points are also words that most people aren’t going to use in real life. In effect, these games and similar ones reward users for memorizing thesauruses. Also, not everyone needs or wants to speed read. Too, the autocorrect function sometimes changes words I don’t want to be changed, which is frustrating. For example, I wanted to use “ragged” and it changed it to “jagged.” It’s fine for actual misspellings, but when I’m spelling an actual word, it should use the word I give. The math challenges are strange, particularly measuring, especially when it so often comes to “double it.” The math challenges seem somehow both niche and widely applicable at the same time, likely because there’s no variation in how they’re presented. Many of the fractions are only usable in very specific real-world contexts, too. Finally, the focus on brevity in writing is not the be-all, end-all of writing. One could look at most literature to see that, particularly in fiction. There is a difference between brevity and clarity, and while the games focused on brevity do hit the mark on clarity, the misconception is that cutting words from sentences is always the right call. I signed up for the trial to try the various games, but I’m not sure I’d be inclined to subscribe.

I purchased to improve my memory loss, but the app lacks enough memory challenges.

I signed up for free trial and I cancelled immediately as I didn’t like the app. I was still charged the monthly fee $16.11 total with taxes and can’t get my money back!!! 🤬
