Description

*** Most downloaded Contraction Timer app in the world! Number 1 in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Italy and elsewhere! *** This is the simplest-to-use contraction timer. The app will help to track your contractions and determine when it's time to go to the hospital. If you plan on having a home birth, the app will tell you what stage of labor you are in at any given moment. Keep track of your labor by tapping a single button at the start and at the end of each contraction. The Contraction Timer analyzes the duration and frequency of contractions and will notify you when it's time to go to the hospital. Thousands of pregnant women around the world have become mothers using our app. Always consult your doctor to orient yourself in terms of contraction frequency and duration. This app is not a medical device and our recomendations are based on standard indicators. Your labor may occur differently. Therefore, do not rely exclusively on our app. If the duration and frequency of contractions do not yet correspond to the necessary indicators but labor pains become unbearable, it is better to go to the hospital as soon as possible rather than give birth at home or on the way there. Trust what your body is telling you. If you have any questions or suggestions, please email us at neumandev@gmail.com. Your feedback is very important to us.

How can the developers flood this app with ads in good conscience? I get that the developers need to monetize but to surface a unskippable ad that disrupts your timing tracking, and at times during literally during peak contraction pains, is not only an awful user experience, it’s morally reprehensible. If I could give negative 100 stars for this sad excuse for an app, I would.

Spams you with “do you have a virus” right away.
  • Hides basic features behind paywall

The last thing you want when you’re trying to track something this important is to be bothered by a paywall. Without buying their subscription, this app is basically a sequential timer with an extra averaging function. That’s it. Want to toss out a measurement because it may not have actually been a contraction? Nope, paywall. Want more information on your contraction statistics? Nope, paywall. Functions like this don’t take a lot of development, and it’s outrageous to try and monetize something this important, for people that are already about to take off a bunch of work time having a baby. Awful experience, actively looking for a new timer app.
  • Great app but too many adds

It’s great for keeping track of contractions but it’s not ideal having to exit out of an add between each contraction. It’s ridiculous to but a laboring mother through that and its laughable to think that people are going to be clicking on them mid labor. Chill out with the adds please!!
  • Got interrupted by an ad!!

I was in the middle of starting a contraction, my head is spinning from the pain and this stupid app just started an Ad while I’m losing my mind and made me crash out. I uninstalled the app immediately.
  • Tricky payment options

It’s not a one time payment it’s multiple pop-ups one after another to add ones like “keep the history”, oh wait! -now buy no ads version.

This app is super helpful & well made, but you can’t be advertising for abortions on an app like this. Ban those ads.
  • The worst app to use unless you buy it.

The worst app to use unless you buy it. I only needed it for timing contractions and nothing fancy. There are ads that will pop up in the middle of trying to time your contractions causing you to miss being able to time them. You can’t click out of the ad or skip it. Just awful especially when you’re in the zone. Would not recommend.
