Description

*** Most downloaded Contraction Timer app in the world! Number 1 in the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Italy and elsewhere! *** This is the simplest-to-use contraction timer. The app will help to track your contractions and determine when it's time to go to the hospital. If you plan on having a home birth, the app will tell you what stage of labor you are in at any given moment. Keep track of your labor by tapping a single button at the start and at the end of each contraction. The Contraction Timer analyzes the duration and frequency of contractions and will notify you when it's time to go to the hospital. Thousands of pregnant women around the world have become mothers using our app. Always consult your doctor to orient yourself in terms of contraction frequency and duration. This app is not a medical device and our recomendations are based on standard indicators. Your labor may occur differently. Therefore, do not rely exclusively on our app. If the duration and frequency of contractions do not yet correspond to the necessary indicators but labor pains become unbearable, it is better to go to the hospital as soon as possible rather than give birth at home or on the way there. Trust what your body is telling you. If you have any questions or suggestions, please email us at neumandev@gmail.com. Your feedback is very important to us.

  • 100% worth the price

Used it to monitor my wife’s labor at home prior to the hospital. It gave a heads up on when to get ready (shower, etc.) and told us when to go in. We arrived to L&D at 3 cm dilated and just before much larger contractions started and were promptly admitted. You can measure contractions yourself with a timer, but having an app that removes the “thinking” during this very stressful time was well worth it.
  • So limited

If you accidentally hit the start button, you can’t even delete it without paying to? It screws up a lot of the timing when that happens. The free version is so incredibly limited. You can’t even restart the hour without deleting ALL your data. For something you only need for, you know, a handful of days of your entire life, they need to do some work on the free version.
  • Not for everyone

It was telling me I was experiencing "practice contractions " then my water broke 🙂
  • Just told me to go to the hospital after 1 contraction 5 hours after the previous one.

Interface is fine, though the button name is a little confusing. Very simple. Not really worth the $2.50 or whatever it was, since the notifications are obviously not reliable.

Should be able to edit contractions for free- since button is so easy to accidentally hit.
  • Trash

Most of these reviews must be fake because this app is trash. Doesn’t allow you to go back and add or edit a contraction so if you don’t have your phone on you at every moment DURING ACTIVE LABOR it will give you incorrect results. You’re literally better off just writing times in a note.
  • Worked Well!

This app helped me time my contractions, so by the time I got to the hospital, I was already 5 cm! I loved all the data! The only inconvenience are the constant ads popping up. When the pain overtakes you, your impulse is to concede to the pro version…but I feel like it the app takes advantage of a mother’s state in that way!
  • Used for two pregnancies

This app is official. I love it. I was able to know when it was really time for me to go to hospital from the contractions and frequency I was having. I used it for two different pregnancies.

I was only 32 weeks and 6 days pregnant when I started having contractions. I wasn’t sure if they were Braxton hicks or real contractions, so I downloaded this app. It told me right away that I should start preparing to go to the hospital. I was in denial but I could see that my contractions went from 5.5 minutes apart to 4 minutes apart. Still in denial, I called the on-call doctor, and he said it was probably nothing but I could go in to get checked if I wanted to ease my mind…the whole time the app was telling me to head to hospital now. When I got to the hospital I was already a 7! I couldn’t believe how accurate this app was. I’m so relieved and thankful that I downloaded it.
