  • Worst theme park experience

    This was not a very busy day attendance wise but entry still took a while. Could not buy tickets in advance on the app - it just kept spinning. Once inside no paper map giving an overview and trying to use the map on the phone is a joke. Limited directional signs in the park and no overall map that I could find Went to Mel’s Diner for lunch. Food was average at best - waited a while and food was not hot. Milkshake was best thing we got. Hoping things improve

    Was not able to order food due to an unknown error to place my order. Since a lot of restaurants are order only, I would have just starved if not for my friends that were able to order for me on their phones. They either need to fix the wallet/card feature or allow patrons to order in person at the restaurant..

    I keep getting an error message when I try to add my credit card. I don’t care about promotions. I am here now. They get in the way of figuring out the map. The map is only so so .

    Everyone knows how hard it is nowadays to save anything in a savings account for a vacation… that’s on top of trying to save money for rainy days or your retirement.. let’s not forget to include the money for your child’s future education for those of you who have children.. But think about this and listen to my reason why I gave a poor rating.. it took me over two years to save what I could save to experience Orlando Floridas theme parks… all the amazing things that they advertise worldwide about Orlando, Florida, should become one of the most amazing experience that anyone should experience… normally it is.. unfortunately for me my 29 months of saving what I can to take my young one to whatever park she picked.. After spending all of the vacation money for this vacation was not too bad, except for one..(THE LIE) That a representative of universal studio was pretty slick… I’m not sure if they work on commission, but at the end of this supposedly great vacation a life experience that should never be forgotten.. didn’t and very well with the two of us.. When we were purchasing the ticket at the gate. I explain to this representative what we wanted to do… For some reason, I trusted her that’s the way it should be in America trusting trusting each other.. I guess North Dakota it is like that.. becoming downtown it really is different😢😢.. We were supposed to experience three theme parks.. not looking at the tickets… we experience to great days.. but the last day was the day that didn’t end up great.. We could not enter the third park because we did not have the correct ticket.. I thought I bought three day pass ticket from park to park with the fourth day “”free”” trusting this person’s word… we were going to experience all three parks for the price that she gave me… we were both so happy that we had enough money to pay for what we wanted to do.. after all, we didn’t plan this trip over two years ago.. But at the end we were only allowed into two parks.. Like I said, I trusted the ticket booth person and what she explained to me.. pay the price as she quoted me go from park to park and if I wanted to upgrade simply pay for Xpress Pass.. at the end, it didn’t matter… we could not enter the last part because it was not on the ticket… We woke up early every single day to get the most out of what we paid.. but in the end we ended up, leaving disappointed basically a little hurt inside… if any of you can understand what I am trying to elaborate… I am not the person who is going to be a “”Karen”” so we both left and waited for our plan to come and pick us up the next day… Pay close attention to what these people say and charge you.. they well lie to you with no remorse.. they will easily take your money, and once it is theirs, they will not return it to you… I wasn’t looking for a return, I only wanted to experience a vacation of a lifetime with my family.. if I had lots of money, I wouldn’t even be sharing this sad experience with anyone who reads this… I talk to one person about this at the park.. didn’t care at all what I was saying or trying to explain what happened… I simply said thank you and have a good day.. My advice… look at everything closely before you sign your credit card merchant receipt… Even if they tell you that your tickets are good for all the parks.. don’t fall for the trap of that they are giving you something free… if you hear the word free, they will take your hard working money…😢

    Disney is horrible. Go to Universal and have a much better time. Disney has lost the magic and Universal is poised to take many customers. We love Universal.
  • Continuing issues when trying to purchase tickets

    When trying checkout for tickets the app you receive ad to apply for universal credit card. You can not bypass ad to get to cart. I have tried several times over past couple days and ad will not close. There is no option to opt out or x out of ad.

    Had a great 3 days at Universal and islands of adventure! Very clean and efficiently run. I felt I received a amazing experience. The negative was lack of signage throughout the park…the App was very primitive and useless in the map category Otherwise 5 stars!!!

    WHY DO COMPANIES INSIST ON MESSING UP THEIR OWN APPS?! The app was great until the update now it’s harder to order food, the menus aren’t housed on the app it redirects to the website (always a terrible decision) and everything is more difficult to navigate and find. So frustrating!!!!!!!
