  • How to get the 50% off annual subscription?

    5

I love the app and I am considering subscribing to it and stop using Waze. I got a notification for 50% the annual subscription but once I tapped on it, it took me to the app and nothing happened. How can I get the 50% discount?
  • My Routes missing

It’s a good app, but, if you’re a Tomtom hardware user, your saved routes from plan.Tomtom won’t load. Your “places” load fine, but the planned routes won’t. I sat on chat with a rep for over an hour, uninstalled, reinstalled, logged in, and nothing. A few days later, I received an email from them stating that its a known issue with and unknown resolution date. Im in the USA, and my Tomtom Rider 550 is acting up (after current updates) and I was hoping that I’d be able to use the app instead. Nope. Tomtom has removed all Tomtom hardware from sale in the US, So I can’t even replace my 550. So if you’re a Tomtom hardware user, this currently won’t fully work for you.

  • Missing features for the money

It’s a nice app. Seems to do what is advertised but since it costs money there should be more feature options available. The only crowd source option is for speed cameras which really isn’t a thing in most US states. Please add the ability to report construction and emergency/police vehicles. Also do they offer a user led map update feature like Waze? Some of my locations are off by a block or two.
  • This needs to fixed. Doesn't remember last valid position.

Last known location needs to be your starting point. When starting the app to check a drive to somewhere it won't remember the last valid position. This means when I check the drive home from work it comes up as though I'm at home and shows a real short drive. Should always remember last position until it picks up satellites. App needs to record last known position, always a better starting point than a previous location. Once it finds your location then use that location.
  • Traffic info isn’t reliable anymore

Update 2. I just checked Amigo and the traffic is showing on I495 correctly. And the TTGo has nothing. Any thoughts on this? Update: Please check I495, long island New York. Missing traffic data. Multiple times I had an issue, TTGo will direct me through traffic. Waze or gmaps work fine. Not sure about apple maps. I know TT and Apple share traffic information, or used to. Thanks in advance. I’m having problem with TTGo. The traffic info is getting less accurate in New York City. And last week I had the same bad experience in Salt Lake City. For some reasons the traffic info isn’t up to date. It will navigate me through a 10-15 min delay without even showing that I am in such traffic. I trusted TTgo for so many years and it was always my to go navigation. What happened TomTom?
  • Love The Winding Road Option

    5
    By Meowzebub
The main reason I purchased this app is the winding road option that allows me to take scenic routes when I want to. I’ve been diverted from the main road into some really amazing neighborhoods and park areas that I never knew existed. I just have to remember to turn that option off for regular commuting unless I want a really long commute.

  • Traffic info unreliable

Some large stretches of highways, parkways, and interstates around large cities aren’t reporting traffic on the map. Google maps show the traffic without issue, so it’s a malfunction on the side of TomTom. If I keep needing to use google maps or something else during rush hour traffic and slow downs, I won’t renew the subscription.
  • Can’t Be

I use Google Maps or Waze both which are free. I’ve had TomTom GPS and didn’t like them as well as Garmin so paying for this is a no go for me.
