I have been using this more often than I use google maps lately as I find the traffic and rerouting seems to work better. I just wish it was an open in option when clicking an address on a link or a calendar, right now my only options are Google maps, apple maps and wyze.

If you leave notification on, you kinda need them, they take advantage of it and randomly spam you. I pay for the app, please don’t spam me with no way of opting out

This app mimics the built-in TomTom navigation in my Subaru. I am considering using it when my free Live Traffic from SiriusXM expires, or if I get a new Subaru without built-in nav. Can I ask for directions on my Siri-activated steering wheel button? Can I say “Drive to 123 Main Street using TomTom” and have it calculate direction? On CarPlay if I just ask for “Drive to 123 Main Street” it routes using the Apple Map. I can add “…using Waze” or “…using Google Maps.” Can I do a similar feature adding “…using TomTom?”

An ancient and excellent application, but why does it not support the Arabic language, with more than 600 million people speaking the Arabic language?

Cancelled before the end of the free trial. It doesn’t consistently give you Freeway names/numbers when giving directions. And it only gives you one route. I had to switch back to Google Maps to navigate around a road closure.

I am a 40-ton truck driver. I wanted to know if this program shows prohibited truck routes, bridges with low height and narrow roads?? I will be grateful if you answer me because I want to buy the annual subscription of this program. Thankful
  • Wouldn’t update location

Downloaded and paid for this to navigate on my trip to the Scotland . When I got in the rental car and tried to navigate out of the busy streets of Glasgow it refused to update my location and said everything was no possible route. So it doesn’t work when you need it and my phone’s built in app worked quite well.
  • Wrong Speed Limits

This app had the wrong speed limits for 80 percent of the roads. Almost always defaulted to 20 mph in 25 and 35 mph zones.

When I first got this app years ago there were many options. You could choose map colors, change the guidance icon from an arrow to various cars with different colors, plan a route with several stops and the stops would be numbered so you could tell where it was routing you first, second, and so on. It was the best GPS app. You paid one standard fee for North America and that was it. There wasn’t traffic updates but, it was awesome. Now after several updates, they changed the colors and you don’t have ANY option to change any colors. There is no option to change your guidance icon, if you plan a route with several stops, they are no longer numbered so you have no idea where it’s sending you first so you have to go into the route options and choose “reorder route” every time you plan one and route it yourself. Now there is a subscription model and, I get it, you make more money getting a subscription than you do if I buy the app once. You do get traffic updates now but there are so many more bugs since you “improved” the app with updates. Addresses change on you after they are entered if there are more than one stop. I have sent several emails to TomTom about this and have even sent in a video showing them the issues. Then they update the app and give you the new feature of not having your music level lowered during instructions. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Yeah, THAT has been a real problem. How about giving us some of those options back. I’d love to be able to change the color of my planed route, change the guidance icon or at least it’s color. When it’s the same at the route color, it blends in. I’m d imagine people that are colorblind would be very appreciative to be able to have some contrast between route and icon. If you don’t want people to use your app and only want people to buy your stand alone GPS products, then remove your app from the App Store and just make standalone product. If you keep your app in the App Store, the least you can do is fix the bugs and give us some real options instead of music volume.
