    Why would the app require internet access to load? What developer thought that was a good idea? If offline maps is your goal, pass on this one as it requires internet to launch.

    I used to like this app but a year after moving into my new house they still haven’t added my address. Apple, Google, Garmin, the post office, the property appraiser office, etc all added it 10 months ago. What are you waiting for? Update: The developer responded but seemed to imply that they were waiting on official sources. Not sure you can get any more official than the USPS and the local property appraiser office. It’s ridiculous because my car has its own version of TomTom maps and I can’t even set my Home address! Update: The developer asked for my report ID but the newly submitted report doesn’t have one. A previous report from about 10 months ago has disappeared. The latest report was submitted on August 15, 2026 at 10:32 AM and has a status of pending. After nearly a year, I’m not convinced that TomTom has any intention of updating the maps. Update: my home address has finally been added to the maps!

    If you choose the $29 subscription with free trial, you instead get switched to a $62.99 subscription with no free trial. This is a serious bug, or a scam, and needs to be fixed immediately.

    For the most part, the app works well; however, while testing it, the app has taken me to two bridges that were lower than my vehicle setting of 12’08”. Also, when your destination is on a main road, it fails to tell you which side it is on; this is very helpful information when driving a large rig as you want to know what lane you need to be in and where you’re going to be turning. It’s also a bit sketchy on exits, sometimes it tells you the exit number, sometimes it doesn’t. One 190 in Buffalo it told me to take exit 50… there’s exit 50A and 50B. Basically, this app is a game of “maybe, maybe not”. Maybe you’ll hit a bridge, maybe you won’t. Maybe you have to turn left, maybe right. Just make sure you leave yourself extra time for wrong turns and evasive maneuvers if you want to use it. And don’t EVER trust the height limitations.

    Terrible app. I signed up for a free 7 day trial to try out the app. Instead I got charged over $80 on the spot! I cancelled the recurring subscription and erased the app from my phone. No thanks. False advertising and worse they charged me a lot of money under false pretense. This is fraud by any other name. Update: 7-Sep. Below are the legal terms of the trial from their app website: Trial There is a free trial period for each new user to our app. At the beginning you’re asked to enter your payment details, but your account is only charged at the end of the trial period. It is not charged if you cancel the trial. — To be clear I selected the trial option and within minutes was charged. This is not a bug it’s called fraud. That’s a legal term. And I would like my funds returned because they were taken under false pretense in violation of this company’s own terms of use.

    Just lost all saved points and routes. Tech support is non existent, and semi ai bot says that they are working on the issue. So far no fix and no one to talk to.

    I’m driving from Pacific Northwest to Alaska through Canada (driven this about 12 times over the years) have used a tom tom device years ago before and it worked great, I forgot it this trip and decided to get the app. This did not work, I enter the little information it allows about my vehicle (I have a truck and trailer), it would not even give me route options that I have driven for years and are the best options. Both Apple Maps and Google Maps gave me better and more options for routes. My brother uses Garmin/rv and consistently gets better route planning, that is what I will likely move to also, which is sad because I liked my old Tomtom and thought this would be a updated car play version, it is not.

    Free TomTom app shows green roads for smooth traffic. This paid app shows congestion, but not the gratifying green roads where traffic is flowing smooth. That’s not ideal.
