Description

High standards? Keep them that way. The League is a dating community designed for the overly ambitious that know what they want & refuse to settle. While some may call us exclusive or elite, in reality, we just have standards for entry - unlike every other dating app out there. We believe 3 quality matches are better than 100 bad profiles. Say goodbye to endless swiping, and hello to smart, sexy, and successful matches. While your mom may call you picky, we call you self-aware. You can use The League for free as a Guest, or you can become a Member by purchasing a subscription. Membership doubles your matches and supports our mission (bit.ly/leaguemission) to foster equal relationships across the globe. Our success stories are frequently featured in the New York Times Wedding Section, see them at theleague.com/love Depending on what term you choose, your Membership will last for 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months, and automatically renew at those intervals from the point of purchase onward. If you wish to cancel your membership before it renews, you must do so at least 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and will be renewed at the same price the next term. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings after purchase. • Match Group Killed the App

This app went completely downhill once Match acquired it. On top of that the Match Group will ban your account without reason (check out the Better Businesses Bureau for Match Group, LLC) so be prepared to potentially lose your account and matches since there actions apply here too. Best use your time and resources elsewhere.
  • A weirdly clunky and confusing app

Imagine driving a Mercedes, but not knowing really how good u have it (bumble, hinge). Then someone makes u buy u a low end Toyota after fake advertising (the league). App: everything is slow, clunky, interface is not well thought out. Offering: ridiculous fees. Super low limit. App developer think it’s ok for people to be “waiting to get into an app”. Wfr is that!
  • Ridiculous pricing

The cost for membership alone is a mind boggling point that legitimately has no premise in reality. It’s the perfect example of “limited value hosting” by hosting a site with very few free available slots it forces members to pay an absolutely ridiculous fee if they are truly desperate to join. Everyone waits years to join if they won’t pay the ridiculous pricing and there isn’t really anything that justify said membership costs. It’s mind boggling and a blatant scam. Profit profit profit generation is all these developers are and they have the perfect system set up to take advantage of the wasteland that the western dating world is nowadays. At this price point you could go to Europe for a month and find a wife there instead of wasting your time on a garbage app.
  • Yikes

Definitely the rudest group of women I’ve come across on any dating app. And that’s not meant to be sexist in any way — perhaps the men are too, I just wouldn’t know (lol). What I do like is only 3 matches per day. That’s a good pace, rather than endless swiping. So 2 stars for that, instead of 1.
  • Not worth it. Money grab.

The upsell is throughout the app. I’ve tried it as paid and free customer. Very disappointed, the value isn’t there.
  • Awesome app

Get this app! I’m very satisfied so far. This feels like a real dating app vs some of the other ones. Also very professionally designed.
  • Fakes probably

There are a lot of black patterns in the monetization and fake offers. Also I don’t think there is even half of the profiles are real people. Everything is even worse than in tinder. But the ideas are interesting and I hope the developers will change fakes to real people then they have gotten enough of traffic.
  • Don’t do it

A month on the app and I’d seemingly run out of prospects near me. Everyone was at least a two-hour drive. But when I look in the “add friends” section, there are tons of eligible guys in my age range, in my city. To match with them I have to pay even more than I already have. And many of the guys I do see are low-quality. What kind of selective dating app is this? Deeply regret the investment for a three-month subscription.
  • Distance filter doesn’t work

Have had good experiences with matches on app, but despite the app being set to find matches within 10 miles of my location, it always matches me with people 30 to 60 miles away. Where I am, some neighborhoods have the same names as some cities further out of the county. This often leads to awkward conversations where now it turns out it’s a 1-2 hour drive to meet a match, at which point we often unmatch because both my match and me expected to find matches within our respective areas. The distance filter needs to be fixed and calculated distance should be shown on profiles to avoid such problems and by fixing the distance filter it can also prevent people from coming across as picky for not wanting to meet people that are not fitting distance criteria for being too far away. Not everyone wants to do a long distance relationship.
  • Has gone downhill

Unless you pay, they force you to have very wide ranges (e.g., 10 years for age) so that it isn’t usable
