Navigation is not user friendly at all — quite archaic - but I’m sure you know that already.

As an amateur historian I have always been curious regarding the true facts about LJG. This documentary gave me an astonishing understanding of LJG’s character, her decision making process and just how she was manipulated by the powerful men around her. With so many professional commentators,I was given a clear understanding of those important nine days, how Mary fought to regain the crown and just how so many of those prominent and powerful men turned against LJG in those last few hours. I have been given an important enrichment to my scholarly endeavors. Thank you. Julie Masterson

I’m greatly enjoying Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, set in Melbourne. I always enjoy visiting Australia, and Acorn has a fair amount of programming that creates vicarious journeys there.

Why won’t screen fill iPad. No problem on Britbox and other streaming apps. Very annoying.

First, let me say that I love the content that Acorn TV provides, but there are some things about the app that could be better. The user interface feels dated and could stand to be updated. My biggest issue is that the date, time, battery, etc. are constantly displayed at the top of the screen even when watching a show full-screen. It is very distracting and it would be great if it didn’t appear there all the time, and only appeared when you tap on the screen to show the controls for the video. Apple TV+ app, Netflix, Hulu all have this function.

I’ve enjoyed my subscription to Acorn since I’ve had it! The series are so refreshing and diverse. Just need more seasons of each series. Thanks

Of all our streaming services, Acorn is the one we select every night. We greatly appreciate the selection of mystery and drama from the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Scandinavia and more. The programming is top notch and we are not disappointed.
  • Poor app

This app is so poor I will not use it. It starts the program then stops and kicks you out back to Home Screen of your tv not acorn. They will tell you that the problem is your Wi-Fi , the tower the connection, all bull ! Why can i watch on other streaming platforms with no problem. The only reason I have stayed is , doc Martin, and season 16 of Murdock? Will be starting. I hope without be kick off. I could once get acorn on my tablet now no show no go. Told they don’t support that any more. Only out for your money nothing else. Sounds like I believe they are not worth the time to watch a 41 minute program in hour and 24 minutes. If you got the time and patience good luck

I have been watching ACORN for many years and always enjoyed the mysteries and comedy series. My only regret is that they are unable to run older British Mysteries like Poirot, and Miss Marple.
