  • Where’s newspaper format?

The app is no longer showing up in a newspaper format. Instead I’m getting a series of tiles that don’t appear to be organized by section. Terrible.

I’ve been reading the Detroit Free Press for 50years. They continue to bring Michigan and world news with integrity and honesty. Thank you for your continuous excellence.

I have had the app for a couple years and all of a sudden I’m having to log in once a day and sometimes my password doesn’t work. Very frustrating!

What do I need to do to see and write comments? Otherwise, no issues.
  • Free Press Ap

The Free Press Ap on my phone stopped working. After many attempts to get it to download the paper for Nov 16, I assumed it to be corrupted, deleted it, and downloaded a fresh copy. However the new Ap is different and not to my liking. I want to see the paper format, not another stream of articles. I may just have to drop my subscription.
  • Once great, now unreadable

I used to love to get all-day updated information in an easily readable format. Now pages flicker and roll, ads dominate (and I pay for this!), “NEWS” is only 10 items half of which are sports, the list goes on. I read the online print edition every morning but when I wanted more during the day this was my go-to but not anymore. When traveling out of the country, the on-line print edition could not be accessed, so I tried to depend on this app but it is so lacking. Please bring back the old.
  • Excellent Paper! One of top 10 in U.S.

Love the FREEP sports coverage and the puzzle pages. Reporting is top notch. Editorial page writers are OK. Need more coverage of women issues and accomplishments.
  • Subscription rip-off

I clicked on an in-app offer to purchase a one-year digital subscription for $9.99. I was charged $69 by iTunes. The Freep are liars and thieves.
